^ With the EXTENDED fight scene on the train, I DON'T understand you one bit!!! It looks ****ing badass!!!....
well first of all spidey goes to great lengths to avoid hitting a wall and another train prior to this scene, which indicates that such a collision would hurt if not kill spidey...
now he finally gets hit by a train and it pretty much does nothing to slow him down.
infact he gets hit by the force of two train collisions (if you consider the train he is moving on and that momentum as well) and it doesn't phase spidey
i mean really how hardcore does this character have to be...
besides, they had already showed one scene with parker falling behind and trying to catch up, why introduce the same thing again with him catching civilians?, i'm glad they merged them...
the only shot from that extended scene i would have liked to have seen in the original is when they drive through a station and they are still fighting on the side and you can see the reactions from civilians.
everything else is just unnecessary eye candy.
I much preferred when spidey fell behind only once and ock tried to then stall him by throwing people (i.e. original edit).
also ock smashing spidey back and forth was a lil overkill. I find it hard to believe he could still have the strength to hold a train after all of that fighting (especially if you include the clock tower scenes just before as well).
