let me rephrase, you seem to be of the opinion that the SES could be a lot more than what it is, I don't...I like Punk as a heel, but I don't like the stable idea

Considering how often we've talked about how much DEAD crowds affect WWE shows sometimes Its not always as easy to rile a crowd up as you think.

Punk's insulted there crowd but he's also been getting boos for not insulting the crowd and doing/saying other things.

Even if a lot of people don't understand part of what Punk is doing they understand some of it. The self righteous aspect. And he's getting heat for it.

What you or I like doesn't apply to the whole crowd. You might not think Punk and his SES are working as heels but it seems like enough people do.



Aren't YOU the one that always says even if it doesn't work for the smarts Vince is producing mostly for the CASUAL non smart fans? They seem to be responding to it.

If it wasn't working Vince would have DROPPED it by now wouldn't he?

I really don't know what direction its heading in, I wish I did...maybe if they gave them someone cool to feud with (not Rey Mysterio) I might feel a little less confused

That once again is a problem with...booking.

SES can cut great promos and all that but until they are allowed to do more (more wins, more interesting opponents, etc) they can only go so far. ANYBODY could only go so far.

Punks the mouthpiece but the others are with him backing up what he says. Thats why I'm counting what they do overall. Serena's talked about what she would do for punk and she and Gallows have said how Punk showed them the way.

I'd liek to see Serena wrestle but WWE doesn't give much of a crap about its womens division. Hell, we don't even see Natalya wrestle enough

Mostly its simply a case of them wanting to own, merchandise, and market it like you said.

A small part of the reason may be because they think "Danielson" might be to wordy. They may think Daniel Bryan flows better or is easier to remember. That's just speculation on my part based on their past actions when it comes to names.

I wouldn't mind if WWE called him "Bryan Daniels" but they probably don't want to do that for some obvious reasons.

Bourne apparently got to pick that name. Matt Sydal was a cool name but Evan Bourne is pretty cool too. Gave a lot more creative ideas for naming moves like "Air Bourne" and his theme music "Bourne to Win."

I think Bryan Danielson sounds more dynamic than Daniel Bryan, which just seems kind of bland. But thats WWE's MO for a lot of guys anyway.

I was hoping that name announcement was a mistake on the ring announcers part but its hard to imagine she'd mess it up that bad.

I am starting to get really excited about the TNA product lately. I'm still cautious as to what angle Hogan and Bischoff are playing, but the wrestling is good and the character development is getting neat.

I've always thought Bischoff played a great heel authority figure. Hogan's not a heel but he's a bit shaky at times in the authority role.

TNA just stepping up to the plate and trying to take it to WWE in any way makes me excited about the future. Any sucess they have is good for the business's profile but it also pushes WWE to take more risks and improve creativly.

I remember before Mania last year that Jeremy Schapp did an interview with Vince and Steph about the WWE and everything, they even got to sit in on part of a creative meeting for like 10 minutes both Finlay and HHH were there, the meetings are very business like...everyone in polos or buttondowns

Does HHH even have an official title on the creative team? Another sign of the guys power. If he's there fine but give him an actual OFFICAL job instead of some unnofficial perk. I doubt Taker or Shawn sit in on creative meetings all the time.

I remember Booker was mad once that he didn't get to sit in on creative meetings before he got buried by HHH at Summerslam.

I don't think Booker should have that right but its unfair that Hunter gets to when its an angle that involves both of them.

Finlay has actually worked as an agent and still has some backstage responsibilities. He's not as high profile on the WWE talent roster as HHH. HHH has no right in there if he's just a talent. If he is everybody from Cena to Taker to Orton should be there.

What's HHH's role there? He's sat on other creative meetings so I know that wasn't the only one. Its favoritism and a MASSIVE conflict of interest to have a top talent sitting in on creative all the time.

If HHH wants to be in there he should get an actual job like part time agent or something.
