As it turned out, WWE Divas champion Michelle McCool was kept out of the ring at tonight's house show in Bethlehem, PA as a precautionary measure. She was originally listed on the lineup backstage as facing Melina. Melina wrestled Katie Burchill instead.

Sorry to hear this. Wonder if this injury is serious enough for McBurials to drop the belt.

TNA Signs Deal with Playboy; First Knockout to Pose Revealed

We reported yesterday that Jeremy Borash had posted a tweet on his Twitter account noting that a TNA Knockout had posed for Playboy. We can now confirm that Knockout to be Traci Brooks. At the Comic-Con this past weekend, TNA Knockout SoCal Val announced that TNA had signed a deal with Playboy Magazine and that Brooks would be the first to be featured in an upcoming issue

ewrestlingnews.com is reporting that the Guest Host for Raw tomorrow night Jeremy Piven already has backstage heat on him because he only cares about promoting his new movie tomorrow night more then caring about the actual show tomorrow night which WWE wants him to do. This may also be a reason why WWE is gonna have Piven bring someone with him to help him host Raw tomorrow night.

Well that's no suprise.

You are using celebrities WWE! Think about it! Most of them won't give a lick about wrestling, and will use it as a platform to self promote!

I wonder how much longer will the guest host gimmick run. Besides the stale main-event, it's another element of RAW that's stealing the spotlight and time away from rising talent. Not to mention that besides DiBiase Sr and Shaq's confronation with the Big Show, it's pretty much sucked. But I guess as long as it gives RAW good ratings, they don't care.

Ha, Backstage heat. Like Piven could or should actually give a crap about that. Sometimes I think wrestling people need to live in the outside world a little bit more.

Really wish they'd just make Ted Dibiase a heel GM for Raw. He was really tearing it up and entertaining the crowd.

I'd also like to see MVP transition into the ME and challenge Orton so we wouldn't see the same HHH/SuperCena/Orton match. Dude has been ready for the next level for some time now. It's time for Vince to pull the swich and start crafting MVP as a new ME player.

To start the transition, WWE should have had him in a short feud with Swagger over the course of 3 PPVs where he's put over Swagger in the end but Jack looks strong then MVP transitions into the title pic with Orton.

Swagger then transitions into a feud with SuperCena; he's slowly built to be the next title contender taking out Cena and this sets up for a rematch with MVP if they give him the belt.

Swagger is seriously a contender for next year's MITB match if he stays healthy and this would be a long-term way towards setting him up for a title run.

Meanwhile and HHH feuds with Mark Henry Cody Rhodes or something.

Dibiase goes face and feuds with Miz and Bourne feuds with HBK when he returns.

But WWE will give us HHH/Orton infinity because HHH and Vince wants it that way unfortunately.

They should've started building a program with Orton and MVP the night after Backlash. MVP was crazy over, and his promo against Randy was golden.

But now...MVP has been kind of just been...there. Doing nothing.

Makes you wonder which wife MVP has slept with, or which wrestlers dog he has kicked...He seems to be on the verge of super stardom, but then they knock him back down a peg or two.

Perhaps it's just not on their agenda.

It's amazing that the TNA Knockouts talk **** about the Divas because of stuff like the old bra and panties matches and pillow fight stuff and the whole Playboy thing, yet they do stuff like this and seem to be gradually doing into what the Divas were doing a few years ago.

Heh. That's valid for the whole of TNA in the last couple of years. From an alternative they have turned almost into copycats of the WWE.

The radio advertising in Los Angeles for this October's TNA Bound for Glory PPV in Irvine, CA features verbiage teasing that the PPV will feature former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting's final bout. Given that Sting lives in California, that should create a really interesting scene if they are going with a "win or retire" scenario or an official Sting retirement match.

I hope Sting gets an honorable send off. I also hope he gets a Legends contract with WWE so they can put out a DVD set for him and I can finally see his body of work.
