TNA favorite Samoa Joe is telling people close to him that he'd rather sign an entry level WWE contract, around $50,000 a year than re-sign with TNA with his current contract.

No doubt if he did go to WWE they'd either stick him in the lower ranks, totally repackage him or both.

Major SummerSlam Spoilers (Part One)

- The original plan for John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title was to see a title change. The general feeling is that the Jersey crowd will be very pro-Orton in this match, with Cena still having pockets of fans in attendance regardless.

- Reports on Triple H have him coming in at 250 pounds, which is a lot lighter since the last he came back from his quad injury. He is expected to get a huge reaction since they have kept him off TV doing the King Booker angle.

- At this point, the general feeling is that any match The Great Khali takes part in on live TV is a huge risk. Despite what many think, it is possible they could still keep the belt off of Batista to continue the feud.

- Expect Rey Mysterio to also get a big reaction for his return in his match against Chavo Guerrero.

Major SummerSlam Spoilers (Part Two)

- Mr. Kennedy is the likely person to walk away with the WWE Intercontinental Title tomorrow night in the Triple Threat with Umaga and Carlito. Plans can always change, but it would be an easy way to get the belt off Umaga without hurting him.

- A Smackdown Diva is more likely to win the Divas Battle Royal to setup a Raw vs. Smackdown match at the next PPV for the WWE Women's Title. Michelle McCool seems like a top candidate along with Beth Phoenix.

- Kane vs. Finlay is expected to be a comedy match involving Hornswoggle.

- Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme for the World Tag Team Titles could be added to the card at last minute unless plans change. MVP vs. Matt Hardy for the WWE U.S. Title, as reported earlier, has been cancelled for the PPV.

Anyone who disagrees, doesn't remember how it used to be. It's not worth watching. The lastest breaking news is cool. Mabey 1 day, I'll find something that will want to make me tune in again. That has not happened yet. Unless they can find a way to revive a Cena, Edge feude. That was the best feude I had seen in a long time, and got me back to watching, after a 6 year vacation, since WCW went belly up. Now their shoving garbage matches out there. The hair storyline turned me off to wrestling again. Then they throw Lashley Vs.
Umaga/McManhons out there, and expect me to buy it. Not happening. I was glad to see the ratings dropping. Mabey it will lead to some good, imagative storylines, and the lazy ass wrestlers will get their head out of their asses, and do something to return wrestling to it's glory days of the 70's, 80's and 90's. 3 of the best decades in wrestling.

The Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 video game may miss its November deadline as Vince McMahon is going back and forth about whether to leave Chris Benoit in the game. The designers haven't completely removed Benoit from the game yet and Vince wants him out obviously. However, if they remove him, it would require the game to be delayed and they'd miss out on the 2007 holiday season revenue, which is always the most lucrative quarter for video games.

There has been lots of talk of another WWE PPV being axed in 2008, likely Cyber Sunday. Instead of doing it as a PPV, they might switch it to another special three-hour Raw with the same concept.

The ratings show a decline and Vince thinks it's because he's not on television? Please. WWE hasn't been the same since they bought ECW and WCW. Personally I feel WWE's recent best product was when Edge was champion, Jeff Hardy was intercontinental champion, and so forth. I will admit that if I were the owner of the WWE I'd push guys like Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Kennedy, MVP, Orton, Carlito, Charlie Haas, CM Punk, and Londrick as the future of the WWE instead of forcing Cena down everyones throats.
