Why are people so slow to believe that the WWE is serious about this?..them suspending 11 people wasn't enough....basically stripping Morrison of the ECW title because of it isnt convincing....the IWC won't be sated untill Vince marches one of the offending wrestlers out there and spanks him with a giant WWE paddle.....and now that all the offenders will be outed automatically is a giant step in a good direction

Maybe because they decided to wait until after several lives were ruined to take action?

Maybe because it's WWE.

Or maybe because as followers of WWE, we all know it would be like them to banish the wellness policy once the casual viewers of CNN have forgotten about the Benoit tragedy.

This policy was not done to 'protect and care' for the wrestlers or else it would have been here ages ago. It was to shut up the critics from saying WWE is an unsafe place that doesn't properly test for drugs.

Exactly. No matter how many times this wellness policy is defended or is made out to be serious, it's going to take more than the suspension of lower tier stars to really convince me of its seriousness.

Masters, Harry Smith, Morrison, Kennedy, Umaga, Chavo, and etc are nowhere near as popular as say Cena, Triple H, Lashley, Batista, or Orton for that matter. Until the Wellness Policy is conducted by an independent organization that can't and won't be bought off by Vince, it'll always be viewed as something that isn't serious to begin with.

If they were serious about it they would've started it immediately after the death of Eddie Guerrero and stuck to it. It's just a sham to cover up the darkside of the business.

It's too bad that the WWE Writers aren't members of the Writers Guild. It would mean that they would have to go on strike and the writing of the shows would be left up to the Road Agents such as Ricky Steamboat, Sgt. Slaughter, Barry Windham, Dean Malenko and Mike Rotunda.

Too bad that won't happen.

Have you just been ignoring me??? It is conducted by an independent organization....I even left you a link. IMO...you want a wrestler suspended that you don't like....then you'll consider it serious....

Booker got popped for 60 days(granted he decided to leave).....is that not top tier enough for some of you....?? eddie died in November 2005 and the initial wellness policy was established in Feb of 2006...i say initial because that first version kinda sucked....
