Internally, no one was surprised by the release of Extreme Exposé member Brooke Adams. It wasn't one thing, but a culmination of things that resulted in her release from the company.

From day one she was considered to a problem in the company. She practically made it a habit to draw attention to herself. She rubbed a number of people backstage the wrong way and had people rolling their eyes at her behavior. What with the turnover rate of women in WWE, especially this time of year with all the Diva Search girls looming about, her release wasn't too surprising.

Without the top notch attitude, the star power, or the in-ring skills, WWE had no real need for Adams. She was an expendable talent, and with her bad attitude, WWE just thought it was time for her to go. It got to the point where her negatives outweighed the positives and they felt it was better to release her.

-- That mystery person who has been helping LAX in their matches the past few weeks on Impact is indeed former WWE Diva Shelly "Ariel" Martinez in disguise. She'll be managing them as soon as they reveal her identity, which should be within the next few weeks.

-- Both Krissy Vaine and boyfriend Ryan O'Reilly are interested in joining TNA. No word yet if TNA is interested in them though. The couple quit WWE last month because they couldn't handle the road schedule.

-- Junior Fatu was scheduled to do the job to Christian Cage on last week's edition of Impact in the "Fight For Your Right" tournament. He walked out of the promotion before they could make him do the job though. Chris Harris took Fatu's place on the show and lost. Fatu was working without a contract throughout his TNA tenure because they couldn't agree to his money terms. When it was clear that they're weren't coming to his terms, he decided to bail.

The number of chicks WWE winds up releasing because of attitude problems makes me laugh. I could understand a couple of cases where they're actually contributing to the program, but the majority of them just need to stand there wearing something tight/revealing. As noted over the weekend, Hollywood star Nicolas Cage was backstage and watched part of the show from the balcony, taking in the atmosphere as part of his research for the upcoming 2009 independent feature film "The Wrestler." Director Darren Aronofsky ("Requiem for a Dream") was also in attendance. Both mingled backstage with the performers, but were there more for research and "were obviously working" according to one ROH source. They were never acknowledged publicly during the show and I don't believe they filmed anything backstage for the DVD release. When they entered the building, fans in the venue didn't even realize it as they were reacting to ROH champion Nigel McGuinness heading backstage.

I would rather have Aronofsky autograph more than any one elses there.

-No Sweet Chin Music at Survivor Series

As first seen on WWE Mobile on AT&T, Shawn Michaels' Sweet Chin Music will be barred in his WWE Championship Match against Randy Orton.

Raw GM William Regal granted WWE Champion Randy Orton’s request to ban Sweet Chin Music after Michaels knocked him out Monday night for the fifth week in a row. Under the stipulation at Survivor Series, if HBK uses, or attempts to use, his lethal trademark move, the match will be stopped immediately. He will be disqualified and never get another opportunity at Orton’s WWE Title.

However, the Legend Killer is not off the hook. On the heels of his blatant disqualification at Cyber Sunday against HBK, if Orton is disqualified at Survivor Series, or appears to attempt to get disqualified, he will lose the WWE Championship.


By the way, does anyone else think Morrison will regain the title tonight?
