I just received a call from Kathy Fitzpatrick who informed me that Bart Gunn (Mike Barton) who's real name is Michael Polchlopek just lost his son Michael III to a gun accident.

I just found this article in the paper from Dec. 14th Paper, he died on the 19th.

Michael Sr. was in the Battle Royal on the 15th Anniversary WWE RAW.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the Polchlopek family, friends and fans..

A Melbourne man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head Thursday night while his friend was cleaning his gun, police said.

Michael Polchlopek, III, 19, was shot once in the head at about 7:30 p.m. when Cody Grooms, 18, was cleaning a .22 caliber rifle and the gun accidentally discharged, said Melbourne Police Cmdr. Ron Bell. Polchlopek was shot at a home in the 1500 block of Lime Drive in Melbourne, near the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Croton Road.

No arrests have been made but the investigation is continuing, Bell said.

MICHAL POLCHLOPEK, III MELBOURNE Michal B. Polchlopek III, 19, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at Holmes Region al Medical Center. Michal was born in Titusville, FL. He was a graduate of Eau Gallie High School, and worked for All-Pro Roof Cleaning. Michal is survived by his father, Michal Polchlopek Jr.; mother, Brenda (step-father, Don) Farrish; sister, Amanda Polchlopek; brothers, Gage Polchlopek and Logan Farrish; grandparents, Fred and Peggy Corley, Michal Sr. and Jacklyn Polchlopek; step grandmother, Mary Farrish; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 22nd, with a service following at 11 a.m., in the Flori da Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toys for Tots, Marine Corps Recruiter Station, 2235 W. New Haven Avenue, West Melbourne FL 32904, in memory of Michal B. Polchlopek III.

- On why Big Show wasn't at the show: I assume a return for the Big Show is always possible, but I don’t know why he wasn’t at the Anniversary Raw. Perhaps he was simply not available. I saw Show in November in Miami and he looked to be in excellent shape, as he has been preparing for a boxing career that doesn’t seem to have taken off for whatever reasons.

Chyna was the man. I remember when she whooped Mick Foley's butt once and beat up Kurt Angle too. She even got as far as the IC title, think she even challenged for the wwe title once before. I wonder if Beth will ever get that far

- Believe it or not, Scott Hall did NOT no show a wrestling show. Hall, who recently no showed a TNA PPV and weekend shows in Puerto Rico, actually wrestled on Friday in Pontiac, Michigan, for Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Hall teamed up with Violent J (ICP) and Nosawa in the main event to beat the Thomaselli brothers. Also on the show, Jimmy Jacobs defeated Zach Gowen (when Scott D'Amore interfered).

- TNA has added yet another event to their January schedule. They will be in Austin, TX on 1/10 at the Travis County Expo Center. Tickets are on sale now at www.gettix.net. With 10 live events in January it will be the biggest touring month in the promotions 5 1/2 year history.

- TNA Knockout Christy Hemme's band "Hemme" will be playing at the Easy Rider convention on 1/5 at the Pamona Fairplex in Los Angeles, CA.

- TNA will be releasing a Best of 2007 DVD some time during the 1st quarter of 2008. The DVD will be TNA's first ever 2 disc release and will feature the 10 best matches of 07, moments of the year, comments from TNA stars on 2007, a photo gallery, easter eggs and more.

- Senshi's bio was removed from TNAwrestling.com several days ago but it is now back up.

- TNA's action figure line by Marvel Toys isn't done for just yet. There will be at least 2 more single pack series (9 and 10) released as well as another set of collectors edition figures with Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels and Bash N Brawlers featuring AJ Styles and Rhino. After those items are out out in 2008 the fate of the line is up in the air. TNA's deal with Marvel runs through the end of 09 but Marvel Toys is in very bad shape financhally at this point.

- Gamestop / EB Games still doesn't have a firm release date for the TNA iMPACT! Video Game. They are telling customers that it is likely to be released sometime between April and July.

- The Best of Jeff Jarrett DVD is still on hold until Jarrett returns to TV which isn't scheduled to happen anytime soon.

also the raw 15 years anniversary is now available early at fye . it is a great collection . there could of been more on there but they did cram alot onto three discs . i so far have watched the first two . there is little of todd grisham and it mostly shows the moments and lets them speak for themselves.
it has a lot of good stuff . some highlights for me (because i havent seen them in a while and some i hadnt seen were.)
