She's better than halfway decent. And it takes time to improve in the ring, it's not something that happens overnight.

and there are plenty of female wrestlers out there in the indies and what have you that are a lot better than Candice is.......and are more deserving IMO

There's no such thing as deserving in pro wrestling, you either have something to offer or ya don't, WWE is entertainment, their current biggest name is a manufactured guy built from the ground up to be a star at one of their old feeder promotions b/c he had the look and charisma, it's only b/c of his hard work that he has actually became great at what he does, Candice is a valuable WWE asset and has become a female wrestler that can not only seel the look the audience want but deliver good matches, there hasn't been a female face in a while that plays the role as well as she does.

But you said a woman wrestler cant be hot and wrestle so I provided examples. Whose to say a contestant with some proper training may not have a natural aptitude for it? Candice has improved a great deal and she was in the original Diva Search

I said I don't agree with having contest winners getting automatic contracts and having done nothing to earn them and how its extremely disrespectful to those who have dedicated the better part of their lives to being wrestlers......

diva search, tough enough.....I think they both suck and I wont ever consider anyone associated with those programs as having earned their job....thats how I feel about it....

Yeah she completely surprised me in how well she made the transition, she is currently carrying Phoenix.

Those dedicated ppl do it by choice, I find these posts from you strange since the rest of your posts seem to show that you understand the business for what it is, WWE doesn't give a rats ass if you can do a great chain sequence and bump like HBK, they want a look and personality, they will build the rest later.

The Diva search lets them find women who are hot and have some personality, some will be used for the express purpose of being hot, Stacy Kiebler never did anything to "earn" her spot, she was spotted, had a great look and personality and was hired, much like Torrie, they have a role to play, they actually did less than the Diva search ppl who actually make an effort to get into the business.

Why should WWE bother getting some anvil faced boiler from the women's indy circuit and try to make her look good and hope she can find some personality when they can get someone that has those natural attributes and then teach them to wrestle ? It's impossible to train someone to have personality and most makeovers reek of mutton dressed as lamb, it is though very possible to teach someone to wrestle well enough that it can compliment their look and personality.

The point really is that WWE are looking for girls with looks and personality that they can make into wrestlers, not AFB'st: that they can buy a boob job, give some new teeth to and pray they can find a moidcum of personality.

Why hope for that ? why not hope they pull a Trish or Candice ? Trish is the best North American women's wrestler of all time and she got her job by being spotted as a fitness model.
