I've tolerated a lot of bull**** in this thread over the years, from dickless trolls to painful bannings, and never had I really had to deal with someone who blatently acts like a *****e bag 90% of the time. Wrestling has died. ECW is beyond saving, SD is the most boring show on tv besides Ugly betty and Raw sucks too. Vince needs Cena back, and right now the creative team sucks beyond belief. I'm giving up after next Raw. And I bet anything Cyber Sunday will be a s***fest like every year. Batista and Orton will retain their titles.

ECW just got reupped for another year, I think all of us here got a little spoiled during the MNW because there was great competition. Now we have TNA who is basically now filling the role of WCW lite and a WWE product that is not as competitive as it has been in recent years. Cena was a big part of that, someone in here apparently thought that Cena's absence would increase ratings and buyrates to astronomical levels.....that didnt happen yet...

I don't think it happens intentionally though. When Austin came along, the WWE did everything they could to make him the "bad guy" and the crowd took to him like no one had ever seen....people started tuning in to see what Austin was going to do next....

You're absolutely right, When Austin was hurt in 99 Vince had built up Rock and HHH during his run so they were viable show carriers when he was out, in the last 2 years WWE haven't created any show carriers other than Cena and so the ratings have took a hit in his absence.

I'd say it's 50/50, WWE have really under pushed Kennedy and haven't really given Punk much beyond the ECW to get into top heel and Face spots.
