I just think he wrestles better as a heel. As it is, his current style isn't interesting, but that could be WWE's doing and not his own.
Turning heel doesn't mean he'll go back to his ROH style. I don't think people realize that.

But again, why ruin his momentum, and ultimately hurt the product by turning him heel? Him being heel isn't going to make his style "more interesting".

Punk was a guy that based his style predominantly off old NWA wrestling, more about psychology and story than crisp execution and loads of moves. When he moved to WWE he went for a new style to fit his face character in a new promotion, he decided for the MMA trappings and basically borrowed a lot of his stuff from Japanese wrestler KENTA.

At first i thought he struggled but the crowd were digging the style b/c unlike me, they hadn't seen KENTA do it a lot better than him, over time though he has merged the 2 styles, dropped some of the weaker strikes and found a happy medium between the two that works for him IMO.

Got a new fave Candice pic

I think he will get it back for sure, when Punk moves on to bigger things he's next in line. Nitro is a prime example of what Shawn said "The man makes the title, the title doesn't make the man" he was made champ when he was barely over, now he has a chance to build up some actual heat and be a credible champ when he next gets it.

Gotta agree 110% on Morrison, well said

As noted before, Brooke Adams of Extreme Exposé was dropped by the company last week. She had a ton of heat with a number of girls and an incident involving her and Melina may have played in her departure from the company.

Brooke's last appearance in the company was on Raw last week for the Divas Halloween battle royal. Backstage, Melina had a confrontation with Brooke about the furry black boots she wore as a part of her costume. It was a "gimmick infringement" argument, seeing how Melina frequently dons furry boots for her wrestling appearances. McMahon was actually upset that Brooke was ignorant about the furry boots issue and "not protective of Melina's gimmick." There is also a belief that Melina went to Vince and complained, and he made the call to axe Brooke.

John Laurinaitis was one of Brooke's biggest supporters and he fought hard for her to retain her employment. He was overruled. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 2007 Diva Search winner Eve Torres end up in her role. Brooke was initially hired by WWE to be one of the Funkette dancers when Flash Funk aka Too Cold Scorpio re-debuted. Laurinaitis paid for Adams to take dance lessons and develop a routine. Of course, Funk never re-debuted in WWE and thus there weren't any Funkettes. However, Adams' dance lessons didn't go to waste as she ended up on television in the dance troupe Extreme Exposé shortly thereafter. Though before that, Laurinaitis was always pushing hard for her to debut on all three of the brands, which became a running joke because she had almost no experience in the wrestling business at the time.

Um, wow :o

This weeks RAW rating was actually a 3.7 and not a 3.8 as I first reported. It was VERY close to being rounded up to a 3.8 but the official number was 3.7. The show did hours of 3.7 and 3.8. The show last week did a 3.5. Enough numbers for ya'?

Last night's edition of ECW on SCI-FI did a 1.2 cable rating. That is down from last weeks 1.4.

In an interview Smith did in 2003, he told Slam Wrestling!, "I've never taken steroids, I don't plan to. I loved my Dad, and yes he made mistakes, but I have learned from them. I won't go down that path." Smith always had a reputation for being super clean, and never even drank until he got into wrestling. Add in the fact that his father died in part due to long-term steroid abuse, and the fact that Harry was very close to Chris Benoit had people shaking their heads all week.

There are also some rumors going about that Smith failed a test in September and they held the suspension off until November so it could look like they were serious. Several people close to the situation are saying that is likely not the case.

Regarding Smith's immediate future in WWE, McMahon spoke to the creative team immediately after it was announced that he was being suspended. McMahon basically said that when Harry came back he wouldn't be punished, but he also wouldn't be pushed hard yet. The situation is similar to Rob Van Dam's deal in the summer of 2006 after his drug possession arrest which forced WWE to suspend him for 30 days. Smith will be lame duck for a few months when he returns. This also suggests McMahon was caught off guard by Smith's drug-induced suspension.

-- Despite the crowd’s lack of response towards Snitsky, Vince is still a big fan of him.

-- There has been a lot of talk that Carlito is not happy within WWE. The feeling backstage is that he doesn’t have the attitude that it takes to get a major push on TV. People have said that they feel he isn’t giving 100% in matches and he has been saying things they don’t like.

-- Right now it is said to be about 75% sure that Jericho will return to WWE on November 19. As always with WWE, things change rapidly so take that with a grain of salt.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Fabulous Moolah's funeral was held earlier today. Stephanie McMahon gave the eulogy along with Moolah's nephew. Vince McMahon Howard Finkel, Victoria, and Mae were on hand as were MANY others.

Clearwater, Florida • Nicholas Bollea was arrested minutes ago for Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury. He will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail when this happens. He will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail when this happens.

Bollea, who is the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was involved in a high-speed crash in August that left his friend critically injured. 22-year-old John Graziano III remains in the hospital, reportedly on life support.

Police have been investigating the crash, but up until this point, no charges had been filed. Investigators say Bollea was racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper when he lost control and crashed into a tree.

The driver of the Dodge Viper, 22-year-old Daniel Jacobs, has been issued a court summons for Reckless Driving.

In addition to Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury, Bollea is also charged with: Use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, A person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher, and illegal window tint.

Nick's rep, Adam Handelsman, EVP of 5WPR, issued the following statement to TMZ "Nick and the entire Hogan Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena a court of law."

The statement continues. "The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can. The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt. There has been much speculation as to the speed and wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although all the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident. Because Nick is still a juvenile and has no prior criminal record, we are disappointed that he is being charged as an adult offender. However, we are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident. We ask all who follow these events to keep an open mind as to the facts until they have been ultimately determined. Finally, we thank all who have prayed for John's recovery and ask for your continued support and prayers."

I think turning heel would bring in more moves. But you're right, there's no point in turning him and he's doing well as a face.

To be fair I probably haven't watched a lot of his WWE run, while I've been running through his ROH stuff, especially his world champ reign.

WWE.com has announced a CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. The Miz ECW Title match for Survivor Series.
I expected this to happen. I see them taking the title off Punk without him getting pinned.

I think the only way they shoulld take the title off of Punk is if he moves to another show right after.....

the Miz is a fantastic *****ebag......I hope he keeps up this character for a bit

I don't want to like him, but his character is just so easy to dislike, and he pulls it off well, that he's grown on me.

That was a great period, coincidently he is wrestling Noble this week on SD, have you seen his ROH title match with Noble (Gibson) in ROH ? it was on the "Fate of an Angel" show.
