What is Kaz doing in a ME match with Christian ? is Crystal the WWE chick with a C instead of a K ?

- Socal Val entered the ring and celebrated with Lethal until Team 3D ran down to the ring and attacked both Dutt and Lethal as Val looked on in terror. Brother Ray took the mic and said they are taking the X Division title hostage.

Oh dear. :csad:

The ME is Sting and Bookah vs. Nash and Angle. Person who scores the pin gets the title. Don't ask me why they're tag partners instead of just having a fourway match.

Nope. Just some chick named Crystal

- A video aired previewing the Tag for the Title main event.

(8) Tag for the Title for the TNA World Title: Kevin Nash & Kurt Angle (c) vs Sting & ???.

(8) Tag for the Title for the TNA World Title: Kevin Nash & Kurt Angle (c) vs Sting & ???. Sting's partner is Booker T. His entrance theme sounds just like his WWE one.

Not even the marks in the Impact Zone can pretend to be shocked at this.

Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Sting, and Booker are all in TNA's main event for the world title.

Notice what they all have in common?

Oh yeah, they're all old, and none of them are TNA homegrown talent. Yep, TNA is the alternative all right.

Yeah but second last against Cage in a ladder match is quite a leap for a curtain jerker.

I might have to see it just for Don West's reaction. :woot:

Heh, WCW 2007 baby!

devon! Get the titles!
That made me laugh.

But then I got sad because the bookers made the X-Division champion look weak. Again.

It's surprising that Kaz won. They'll probably find a way for him to lose the title shot to a higher-card wrestler.

Kevin Nash shouldnt be wrestling.

but apparently King Kurt convinced TNA management that Nash was still a viable wrestler......

Maybe Shelton and Carlito started it themselves? Well, to be fair, Carlito does have moments where he shows that he could be something good on the upper midcard, but he usually makes sure that we forget those moments by watching him suck horribly. I dunno why people continue to think Shelton is awesome, but lazy. He can jump real high and do a dragon whip or a dragon screw, but he sucks, can't talk, has no sense of how to build a match/create presence, and he's lazy.

Cuz he is :o

So I know it's been talked to death, but Booker's officially in TNA now huh? And as Bookah?

I don't pop in the thread as often anymore so sorry if someone already explained it, but did Booker just quit WWE, or get fired? Really wasn't a long time inbetween his "suspension" and him competing in TNA, usually there's a long no compete clause.

Also I agree with the above, TNA is continuing down the opposite road it should be going down. I loved TNA up until the TNA after it's 2 hour show. Every since then they've tossed homegrown talent aside to try and recreate WCWWF. They've been hiring old ME's from WCW, and some of the newer RAW talent, and kicking the old guys to the side. However it was the homegrown talent, X-Division and them actually paying attention to things other than the world title like the tag belts that made me like TNA.

I would like to watch something different, an alternative, not something that feels like WCW from a decade ago that the writers put together in a rush. Yet instead of listening to complaints and criticism on what they can do better, they keep doing what prevents their fan base from growing. They need to get rid of Russo and whoever else keeps telling them to be WWE lite, and start listening to the guys who were running the show before hand.

Booker first got a 60 day suspension for wellness, got pissy about it.....some time later the WWE granted him his release.....

They wont get rid of Russo because king Kurt likes him

Completely forgot about the TNA PPV tonight. I bet buyrates are terrible.

What gimmick was Booker using?

So Booker lost his debut match and it said Angle was the champ, i thought Sting won it at the last PPV.

:o Angle won it again. Title hog.

:csad: at least the TNA Game will redeem TNA. Right guys? Or did Vince Russo personally write the storylines for that game, too?

so how long before booker gets the belt and sends ages moaning about how he was miss used and never got his due's in wwe. they seem to do that with everyone who jumps ship

I don't think Booker should ever be given the title. I mean, he has basically made it clear that he doesnt plan to spend that much longer in the ring, and he has paid zero dues in TNA, so it would be a dumb move, IMO. In fact, I really don't think this will do anything for TNA ratings, either. Casual fans do not watch TNA, as far as I can tell, the way they do WWE. TNA was basically built on catering to the devoted wrestling crowds, and that's how they grew. Now they are alienating that crowd.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young and Katie Glass had long ago purchased caskets and headstones for burial plots next to one another in a cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina. Glass, a former midget wrestler named Diamond Lil, was trained by Moolah, who considered Glass to be her daughter.

Brooke Adams, recently released by WWE, reportedly had heat with some of the other women there. Melina, for instance, was upset that Brooke wore a similar style of boots as hers in the Halloween costume Battle Royal on Raw recently. That was said to have been the last straw from other discrepancies and so Vince McMahon made the call to release her. John Laurinaitis had been a big fan and made a number of pitches on her behalf for all three shows before the Extreme Expose gimmick began. Originally the group was going to accompany 2 Cold Scorpio to the ring, riffing on his old Flash Funk gimmick, but Scorpio wound up never returning on ECW.

Further to the above, Jim Ross' on-air criticism of the Halloween costume contest at Cyber Sunday was indeed scripted.

A potential future WWE Diva, Amy Hennig, the daughter of Curt Hennig, got a week-long try-out in OVW recently.

The decision to reunite D-Generation X for 'one night only' on Raw was made to try and appease Bonnie Hammer, the USA Network executive. She was a big fan during the 1998-2001 boom period and thinks bringing back more stars from that time will bring back more viewers too.

The 10 December edition of Raw will be a three-hour 15th anniversary special.

The 26 January house show in Providence, the day before the Royal Rumble, will be a tri-branded card.

Triple H got some backstage heat following the San Diego house show on 3 November. It was a Raw card with Rey Mysterio as a special addition, since the event was in his hometown. The last time he appeared there was when he had just had surgery and Vince McMahon had Umaga beat him up as part of the build towards a Vince/Mysterio match at SummerSlam that never actually happened. Umaga felt the best way to end the show would be with Mysterio, who is a good friend of his in real life, pinning him. The consensus of the other wrestlers was that it was the right way to book the main event, which saw Mysterio and Triple H team up to face Umaga and Randy Orton, yet Triple H made sure the finish was him pinning Orton.

- Carlito lost twice during WWE's shows in Puerto Rico (where he is a major star) over the weekend and WWE.com has now put all of his merchandise on clearance.
