Take this with a grain of salt:

After the TV tapings were over, JBL gathered John Morrison, the Miz, MVP, CM Punk, and Matt Hardy backstage. JBL went on to “dress down and berate” the Miz and Morrison for their color commentary on ECW. JBL felt that they ripped Punk apart in their commentary and made Punk look bad as opposed to them just being heels and saying bad things about him. He then yelled at them for their ring work during their match with MVP & Matt Hardy and told both Miz & Morrison to apologize to Punk, MVP & Hardy for making all 3 of them look bad. The Miz apologized to them, but Morrison told JBL “screw you, it's none of your business, and he didn't say screw, he said another word” and said that he would apologize to them, but it had nothing to do with JBL. They went back and forth arguing and at one point Morrison shoved JBL and the agents had to come and break the dispute up. No word on what the fallout from this situation will be.

JBL is a damn good commentator but if its true it does seem to be a bit out of line. Remember that JBL is pretty high on the list of tenured wrestlers in the WWE and he is part of the little group with Taker and some other guys that handled issues in house......10 years ago, a story like this would have never gotten out...

I think what probably happened was JBL talked to them about, if they are going to be out there on a headset, what they should and shouldnt be saying when trying to properly hype an upcoming match....whoever was watching probably tried spicing it up a little

I didn't watch last night, so I can't comment as to whether or not I thought their commentary was over the line. Was their match with MVP/Hardy bad?

nope...the commentary was actually entertaining....."Imagine if Jesus knew Kung Fu..." was one of Morrisons quotes

I'd like to hear that line in context, because it just sounds like Morrison trying to get himself over as awesome without actually getting the match or his future opponent over. That could definitely be part of JBL's problem with them, if he actually had one.

Here's a better report that actually gives a resolution, instead of leaving out the details for petty drama's sake:

WON said:
--There was an incident last night in Wichita at Smackdown as JBL ripped on Miz and John Morrison for their work doing color in the C.M. Punk vs. Jamie Noble match. He also got mad at them for their ring work in their tag matches last night on Smackdown with Matt Hardy & MVP. JBL said they both guys owed Punk, MVP and Hardy apologies for making them look bad. Miz apologized, but Morrison told JBL to mind his own business, but apologized to them. It was quickly broken up, likely saving Mr. Morrison's life.

So, I doubt all of you Morrison fans have anything to worry about, as this WON report severely contrasts the melodramatic report from earlier.

Anyone catch Noble/Punk last night? It was a nice short match, and I haven't seen anyone sell an arm injury like Punk in a while. He switched arms to do his corner bulldog. Great stuff.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that "Davey Hart" Smith's last drug test was on 13 September, before he had been brought up to a main WWE roster. He tested positive for steroids but was not suspended until after 01 November, when WWE was able to release such information publicly. In other words, it appears WWE brought Smith up to Raw knowing full well that they were going to suspend him more or less immediately after starting to push him. The Observer also maintains that Dr David L. Black, who developed the WWE's Wellness Policy, has recorded 60 WWE drug test failures but that there have been only 19 suspensions to date.

Expect Ric Flair to return to WWE sometime later this month. His differences with Vince McMahon and the concerns amongst the booking team about how to use him appear to have been smoothed over and he will indeed receive one last big push heading towards a retirement match, most likely at WrestleMania 24. The idea of him getting one last title reign has not been completely ruled out of the question, although it would still seem unlikely unless he gets over so much that it becomes inevitable.

Further to the story about Bonnie Hammer pushing for the 'one night only' return of DX, the Raw ratings do not appear to have matched her enthusiasm. Although the 05 November Raw did a 3.75 rating with 5.2 million viewers, making it the highest rated edition since the illegitimate McMahon storyline reveal on 10 September, which got a 3.89, Steve Austin proved a far better draw than DX. Although the opening DX promo performed well it was Austin's segment with Santino Marella that performed best, gaining 1.1 million viewers. The various DX skits that followed lost 921,000 viewers. The DX match in the main event only gained 464,000 viewers. Also, the Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels in-ring confrontation on the 29 October Raw lost 402,000 viewers from the Divas Battle Royal, making it one of the weakest second segments in recent years.

According to Dave Meltzer, TNA's plan for Chris Harris is to turn him into a 'complaining heel' in their version of Bret Hart in the WWF in 1997. It is apparently indicative of Harris' real-life personality.

Nicolas Cage and Darren Aranofsky, the star and director of upcoming movie The Wrestler, were at the ROH show in Manhattan on 03 December. They were said to be fans of Bryan Danielson and Larry Sweeney in particular.

Just finished RAW, not sure what the view is here but i thought it was a good built up show, The opening segment, 6 man tag and the awesome HBK/Orton face off were the highlioghts, putting the lumberjack match on last was a bad idea and kinda ended the show flat with a resolutionless brawl with little heat.

Morrison has a tendency to play to wiseass for a smarmy heel, good on JBL's part, any heel announcer should look at how he calls a match, he knows how to put over the face and still be a top class heel.

That's the problem with a lot of young heels like Morrison, they don't know how to put over their face opponent while maintaining their heelishness, partly because they seemed concerned with keep their heat or whatever. Thats always been a weakness of Morrison's, IMO.

No he won't. It'll just prompt Triple H to turn heel and bury Jericho once again if you ask me. If anything Jericho will benefit being on Smackdown where he can feud with Edge, Batista, Undertaker, Finlay, MVP, and etc.
I honestly doubt H is going to turn heel now when they need as many faces as they can get until Cena returns. They've built up Orton as top dog anyway.

Wow, hope that ain't true.

Same, I don't imagine JBL would be that 'in their face' but if he is, I'd go so far as to say he needs to stay in order. He's not Vince McMahon. I love JBL but if it weren't for his "New York stockbroker" gimmick he'd still be scraping the bottom of the barrel on Heat facing Funaki. On another note, I hope the rumors of him getting back in the ring are true even though he's a great commentator.

^^^agreed but he is one of the senior wrestlers on the roster, so maybe he seems to think he can do that......

In case you haven't noticed, ECW star Kevin Thorn hasn't appeared on television in several weeks. His last appearance took place five weeks ago on 10/9 in a match with developmental talent K.C. James, who was working under the name James Curtis. If you recall, that was the match where Thorn botched a move at the end of the match. He is getting punished for that because he could have severely injured James with the botch. Furthermore, Thorn is said to have a bad attitude, not to mention that his matches often receive lukewarm reactions from the crowd, and that's why you haven't been seeing him on television as of late.

For those that have asked, the Chris Jericho WWE Magazine cover shot is legitimate. The magazine features an in depth article of Jericho putting over the idea of working with John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Ken Kennedy, and even MVP. Jericho said that he went to Lance Storm’s wrestling school to brush off some ring rust and is returning to WWE with a new finishing move and will debut some new moves. Jericho also notes that there will be no more long hair either.

ECW did a 1.4 this week, up from last weeks 1.2 rating.

Short hair and new moves?

^^^agreed but he is one of the senior wrestlers on the roster, so maybe he seems to think he can do that......
Erm, he can do that.

He's one of the longest tenured wrestlers in the company, and anyone in his position has the right to browbeat the youngbloods if they think they're out of line.

I'm not so sure about new moves for Jericho.

The Lionsault and the Walls of Jericho should be just fine.

Agreed.......look how many wrestlers have come and gone since JBL has gotten there....I think the longest tenured wrestlers are, and I hope this is the right order....HBK, Taker, JBL, HHH.....
