- With WWE’s recent switch to High Definition there have been many complaints about several cable providers not offering the USA Network or Sci-Fi channel in HD. Humorously enough, Cablevision, the cable provider that services the Greenwich, CT area including Vince McMahon’s family mansion does not offer either network in High Definition. No doubt that Vince could get the shows in HD via satellite; it’s still likely he’s not thrilled about his own cable provider not offering the service.

- An indy wrestler in the Carolinas that goes by the name Janus told coworkers two weekends ago that he has signed a developmental deal with World Wrestling Entertainment and will begin training in FCW soon. He is said to be a huge African-American with the right look, so to speak, compared to the same stature of Bobby Lashley. He was trained in Virginia Championship Wrestling and debuted about a year ago.

- The State Athletic Commission of South Carolina refused to sanction the Abyss-Judas Mesias barbered wire match for the 2/10 Against All Odds PPV, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This is the reason TNA was forced to tape the match at a recent Impact taping in Orlando, FL.

- The new "stone cold" gimmick that Shark Boy is doing was his own idea.

- At this time, TNA has no plans for Raven. From what we are hearing, they wouldn't mind he just simply quit the promotion.

- Contract update for Team 3D. The tag team continues to work on a handshake deal and are allowed to leave at anytime they desire.

- Dave Meltzer is reporting that iMPACT! may start going live every other week as soon as March. If this does happen the tapings will be moved to Thursday and Friday.

- Meltzer also reports that Spike TV is interested in airing a secondary TNA show that focuses only on the Knockouts. The show would air matches, photo shoots, interviews and more. It would most likely air on Saturday night's.

- Fromer TNA talent Senshi aka Low Ki injured his knee during last night's New Japan event.

- Rey Mysterio recently did a promotional tour in Ecuador and Honduras.

- The paranoia levels have heightened in Stamford, CT in regards to the creative department. WWE is going to great lengths to prevent storyline leaks, and booking unpredictably to just to swerve fans.

I'm not so sure about Shark Boy's gimmick, but I love seeing him pushed so it's fine with me.

I did laugh out loud at some of his puns though. The "That's the FISHING LINE because Shark Boy said so!" And the clam juice? Brilliant. A few TNA fans in attendance were shaking their heads during that but I ate it up.

After re-watching all the Kevin Nash/PCS Championship segments, I conclude that they need to reinstate him into backstage antics over wrestling. Although I'll support Big Kev no matter where he is. His shoots make me respect the hell out of him.

Haha, no. Not suggesting that HHH has nothing to do with his inclusion in the WM match. But people are making it look like HHH put a gun to somebody's head and demanded to be in it. I hold HHH, Vince, Stephanie, Gerewitz, Paterson, Brisco, Lawler, even down to the pyrotechnics guys for everything going down the way it is.

Yeah, perhaps Trips should stay away from the main event for a while.

There were so many ways they could have booked without putting him in even if they didn't do the logical Cena/Orton match.
Orton could beat Cena and Hardy could win the EC, that means they would do Hardy/Orton for the title and HHH/Cena in a #1 contenders match at WM24 for instance.

HHH needs to learn from HBK that you can still be a huge star and have big matches without being in the title match at Mania.
