The HHH situation is very weird, for a guy like him, with his dedication, to miss the go home RAW's before the PPV seems very out of character, did they mention him at all last night ?

Yeah, when HBK came out before all the Elimination Chamber guys hit the ring they said that HHH was not there due to some family emergancy... I hate to think the worst but after the last time some one missed a show for a family emergancy the pessimist in me can't help but be reminded of Benoit... I know odds are it was nothing at all like that and im praying my first instincts when I heard that aren't true, but unfortunatly thanks to that incident every time they say that on a wrestling broadcast that'll be the first thing to come to mind. It's just so odd and like you said, out of character, whatever it is had to be big. Hopefully everything is ok.

Damn, that never even crossed my mind, my first worry was it might be his daughter taken ill, but Vince was there so hopefully it's less serious but less serious usually wouldn't lead to a guy like him missing important shows.

I dont think people realize how important family is to Vince....read any interview outside of a wrestling mag with him and he is always on about how when he retires he wants to spoil his grandkids and all that

Yeah, Vince, despite all the antics on tv and everytihing, really is devoted to family, it couldn't have been too horrificly bad if he was there business as usual, with his pants around his ankles in the ring no less. I think worst case scenario perhaps someone from HHH's family is ill, a parent or grandparent, aunt or uncle, something like that. If anything really really serious was wrong in the McMahon family I doubt Vince would have been there all smiles with a midget biting his ass, but I hate to speculate about something potentially horrible, so I'll shut up now.

it is nice to see how the divas are getting these tag matches and a little more tv time...also I really want to see Carlito and Santino with the tag belts

I also like how the divas are being utilized better, especially Victoria the past few weeks on ECW and now RAW. I think it'd be really good for them to just let all divas work all 3 brands, they seem to be doing it anyway, might as well make it official.

Agreed on Santino/Carlito with the tag belts, they might not light the world on fire in the ring, but Santino alone has 5x the charisma as Holly and Cody combined, they're just more entertaining to watch and less bland.

As Jim Ross announced on RAW last night, Triple H was dealing with a family emergency and missed both tapings. He was not in the arena last night.

Due to the tour of Alaska, South Korea, and Japan this week, the February 11th edition of RAW was taped last night because WWE didn’t want to tape in Japan and have to send it back to the United States via satellite. It is possible they will record a Triple H promo and insert it before RAW airs next Monday since he will be involved in the RAW Elimination Chamber match at the February 17th No Way Out pay-per-view.

As of right now, we are unsure if his family emergency will affect his participation on the tour.

Triple H is still going to win the Raw Elimination Chamber and The Undertaker will still win the Smackdown Elimination Chamber.

Too predictable.

Sorry for the string of posts.

All of the action for next week’s Raw!

HEAT

- Charlie Haas (wearing two masks) defeated Val Venis.

RAW (will air on 2/11):

- Hornswoggle defeated Vince McMahon in a NO-DQ match after Finlay came to the ring and hit Vince with the shillelagh.

- Backstage, Vince announced that he would fire Finlay later in the evening.

- Chris Jericho defeated JBL. After the match, Umaga came to the ring and attacked both men.

- Backstage, Vince changes his mind about firing Finlay and says he will watch Vince beat Hornswoggle next week, inside of a steel cage.

- Paul Burchill and Katie Lea debuted, doing their brother and sister gimmick. Burchill defeated Biran Kendrick.

- John Cena defeated Mark Henry. After the match Cena and Orton had an in ring stare down, and Cena said that he is 100% and focused on the belt. Orton did nothing and wouldn't make eye contact with Cena.

- Mr. Kennedy called out Ric Flair and said he could forfeit their No Way Out Match. Flair refused and Kennedy attacked the already injured knee.

- Melina w/Jilian Hall defeated Maria w/Santino Marella. Jillian distracted Maria by kissing Santino, allowing Melina to get the win. Santino apologizes, but blame sit all on Playboy. He delivers an ultimatum to her, next week she has to choose Santino or Playboy.

- Jeff Hardy defeated Shawn Michaels. The match was described as "a good, long match."

I'm really looking forward to Jeff vs Shawn

- Michael Hayes is pushing hard for Triple H to win the Elimination Chamber match and go on to face John Cena at Wrestlemania. This would include John Cena beating Orton for the title and a heel turn for Triple H in the near future.

- In a bit of a flashback note Matt Striker was chosen to be Big Daddy V's manager in case the fans cheered the monster. The feeling being that fans hate Striker so much that they wouldn't get behind the former love machine. WWE feel that striker is much more of an asset as a manager than a wrestler as he is strong in every aspect but pure wrestling.

Heh, and Mike comes through for me yet again, with a considerable amount of clout, this pretty much seals it.

H-H-H

Michael Hayes is simply pushing for the inevitable to look good with the Macs, i mean what would be the point in pushing for anyone else to win since HHH has already decided he's winning.

One source of Bobby Lashley's discontention with WWE had to do with his payoff from WrestleMania 23. He received $250,000 for his efforts in his heavily-hyped match with Umaga. Lashley was said to be furious with the payoff, and he complained about it. Considering that he was the winner of the biggest-drawing match in WrestleMania history, he believes that was entitled to more. Also, even though he was injured for nearly half the year, several sources have indicated that Lashley earned somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million in 2007, and that's without being much of a merchandise draw.

:lmao: that the WWE thinks that the fans would give a damn about Big Daddy V.

so exactly how much of a whiny b**ch is Bobby Lashley being?? scale of 1 - 10

10, he was in a push he didn't deserve in an ME match that everyone but him drew the money for and he still got a quarter of a mil pay off and made a whole mil for the year.

I see it never entered into Lashley's Milk Dud looking head that the match at WM doing big $ might have had something to do with Austin being the ref and the Trump/McMahon stuff. He was ass in that match and didn't really accomplish anything in the buildup except getting several of us to remark about how much he sucks at promos. Ass.

So I guess the story is that the invincible Cena can only be defeated by HHH?

I agree with WWE about Striker being a better manager than a wrestler, but I don't think the crowd would cheer Big V.

I think the story is gonna be similar to the one for Austin/Rock at WM17 with HHH desperate to get back to the top of the mountain but feeling he needs help, b/c every time he has went against Cena he's lost. The one thing making Cena/HHH interesting is unlike Cena/Orton, there is no certainty on who is gonna win.

Here we go heel turn, here we go!

*clap**clap*

You want to see 2003 repeated ?

You think Trips is going to side with Vince and Steph again to win the title?

Perhaps, maybe a reuniting of Evolution, a DX heel turn, a new faction ? not sure at this point and the thing is, it may not be at WM24, Cena may win and he may turn at Backlash to get the belt in a rematch after a 2nd straight Mania failure against Cena, that's why it's 50/50 going into the Mania match, which is at least exciting IMO.
