That's exactly why I would rather have HHH-Cena II rather than Cena-Orton. Everyone knows that Cena-Orton at WM would have only ended one way, and then we are back to the predictable Cena comeback, underdog victory. At least with HHH-Cena not only is it a match we haven't seen in a very long time, but the outcome is fairly unceartain. Even if Cena wins I won't be sitting on my hands waiting for it to happen because I saw it coming a mile away.
Also I love heel HHH, been too long since he's been the cerebral assassin.

Perhaps, maybe a reuniting of Evolution, a DX heel turn, a new faction ? not sure at this point and the thing is, it may not be at WM24, Cena may win and he may turn at Backlash to get the belt in a rematch after a 2nd straight Mania failure against Cena, that's why it's 50/50 going into the Mania match, which is at least exciting IMO.

Looking for the silver lining in the booking, eh? :cwink:

I agree, the unpredictable ending of this match is the most exciting part about it. That, and Cena has improved since the last time they matched up, so it'll at least be a really good match. It could be how Austin/Rock II was leaps and bounds better than the first.

Well, the two Elimination Chamber matches are too predictable....with Triple H and the Undertaker winning it.

As for Mania, I have no idea who will walk out WWE Champion, but The Undertaker will walk away as World Heavyweight Champion.

I'm not even sure Undertaker's walking out as World Heavyweight Champion; Edge is a very credible heel with massive heat. He's a worthy person to end Undertaker's defeated streak. The only other time I felt this uncertain was when Orton faced the Undertaker.

To be honest i would have much preferred Orton/Cena and i think it's wrong that Orton has been gazumped. As for the heel turn, like Sage i am kinda worn out on heel HHH but it's inevitable so I figure I might as well just chill and see how it plays out.

Yup lol. I am not one to sit and whine for 7 weeks, might as well try another way to look at things.

It was noticeable at the Rumble when they had the stare down that the crowd was going nuts, it felt MASSIVE, i likened it to the 1990 Rumble where Warrior and Hogan had the same situation, of course 9 weeks later they met at WM6. It is true Cena is better than he was 2 years ago by a LARGE margin and with them both booked as super faces i expect them to go all out from the start rather than the first match where HHH tried to out wrestler and punk Cena.

Well, Undertaker should walk out as his last reign was too short. I like Edge though.

As for ECW.....Well, who cares about the ECW Championship match at Wrestlemania. It's a mid card championship at best.

You're really the only one who looks down on the ECW title. You seem to enjoy repeating your views about it constantly at any opportunity.

Yep. Well, it lost all of it's credibility when the ECW Champion was in the Royal Rumble match.

I think these guys will be in Money In the Bank:

- Jeff Hardy
- The Miz
- John Morrison
- Mr. Kennedy
- Kofi Kingston
- Elijah Burke

Matt Hardy will be back to get revenge on MVP, Finlay vs. Vince, CM Punk will be in the ECW Championship picture (and so will Shelton).

I will :lmao: though if the WWE puts one of their monsters in the Money in the Bank.

Elijah Burke? I wish, but what has he done in the past few months. It is almost like WWE just gave up on him. I also think that Kofi Kingston is too new to be in MITB. Perhaps next year, though.

Maybe they put MVP and Matt Hardy in there? I don't know. I did not put them in there because I could see them renewing their feud.

MVP and Matt Hardy depends on if their feud finally ends at No Way Out. I doubt it, though, so they'll probably have their final match at Wrestlemania to close it out.

I think the title was at it's strongest when Big Show had it due to his status, it died when Lashley had it b/c it was booked Russo style, as merely a prop for Lashley to carry around while feuding with Vince.

The Punk/Morrison rivalry brought it back and Punk's run was a good strong one, while i am not a huge fan of Chavo this current angle has elevated it again b/c it's connected Punk and Chavo to Edge and Rey on SD and they are being treat as equals, which is a huge rub for both guys and the title.

They can't fight at No Way Out b/c MVP is in the EC.

My guess for the MITB guys are:

Rey
Kennedy
Jeff Hardy
Shelton
Orton
Kane

Poor Orton. He's busted his butt and improved so much, and he's not going to get the chance to main-event Wrestlemania. :(

I don't see how....for theorys' sake whats wrong with the ECW champ wanting another title belt??...RVD was ecw and wwe champ......your argument might have made a bit more sense back then....I think Chavo with the title is a smart move...hes a good wrestler but has always been a bit boring to me.....this title run can only help

he is in his mid twenties and I am sure he will get the opportunity again.....this is the problem with wrestling fans sometimes extreme shortsightedness....

Oh, my bad. I completely forgot that SD had an elimination chamber.

On the flip you could say "that's the problem with HHH, the mother****er wont get out the way" :cwink:

Are you calling me shortsighted?

Orton finally hit his stride in my opinion, has been nearly matching Cena's heat, and has become one of the best heels in wrestling now, second only to Edge. I'm sure he could keep it up, but this was a big opportunity. C'est la vie.

I would only insist someone get out of the way when they simply cant do it anymore (Hogan) HHH still gets a huge reaction and can physically still go. on that same note, how do they take the immensely popular HHH and flip him, He has gotten to the point where a nice chunk of the crowd will cheer him no matter what he does

its a general statement.....lots of fans are like little kids that want candy NOW NOW NOW and stomp their feet and hold their breath.....

HBK is better and more popular than HHH and yet i don't see him hogging the Mania ME every year, by get out of the way i meant out of the Mania ME, Orton and Cena are the guys that are gonna carry the WWE and should have had their chance to establish their rivalry on the biggest stage of them all, but they don't b/c of Trips.

As for the heel turn, it may be an issue but i doubt it, he's so smug at times i see that tranfer to heel as pretty smooth.

The company listened to the "NOW NOW NOW" when it came to Austin, Rock, Cena, and Batista. Don't see what's wrong not following it now.

A lot of times if you don't follow the fans' "NOW NOW NOW" approach, you miss the grand opportunity to create something special. Just ask TNA and Samoa Joe's future title reign: it'll be becoming a year and a half late and not as impactful.

lets look at HHH's last "heel turn" ....he was booed for all of 3 weeks and then the crowd got behind him again.....short of him beating the bejesus out of HBK....AGAIN......im not sure how its going to go
