Full ECW On Sci-Fi Taping Results For Tonight *Spoilers*

ECW opens up with CM Punk talking about ruining Chavo Guerrero's Mariachi Fiesta last week. Punk invokes his rematch clause, saying that he wants it tonight against Chavo for the ECW Championship. ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero comes out and tells Punk that he will not get his rematch until No Way Out.

ECW General Manager Armando Estrada comes out and says that Chavo will take on CM Punk tonight in a Gulf of Mexico match. It is explained that the point of the match is to throw your opponent into the Gulf of Mexico and obviously it will not be for the ECW Championship.

Victoria & Layla defeat Michelle McCool & Kelly Kelly
Victoria got the pin in a quick divas tag match. Our correspondent said that it was boring and the crowd was not into the match.

John Morrison defeated Tommy Dreamer
Our correspondent told us that Dreamer dominated most of the match but The Miz distracted Dreamer from the outside. Miz's distraction allowed Morrison to score the pinfall on Dreamer. It should be noted that Colin Delaney came to ringside with Dreamer.

Kofi Kingston defeated James Curtis
Kingston had the same type of TV match that he has had in recent weeks. He won the match by pinfall.

Chavo Guerrero defeats ECW Champion CM Punk
This is a non-title Gulf of Mexico match. As soon as the match starts it goes to the outside and into the crowd. The fight goes from the crowd to outside of the arena. Punk ends up hitting Go to Sleep on Chavo, sending him into the Gulf of Mexico for the victory.

The company listened to the "NOW NOW NOW" when it came to Austin, Rock, Cena, and Batista. Don't see what's wrong not following it now.

A lot of times if you don't follow the fans' "NOW NOW NOW" approach, you miss the grand opportunity to create something special. Just ask TNA and Samoa Joe's future title reign: it'll be becoming a year and a half late and not as impactful.

I would say it's over two years late at this point. I didn't know that there were even plans for him to win the title.

as far as Samoa Joe goes....I wont believe it till I actually see him given the title at the end of the match, and even then Ill be skeptical becauses who knows how long Russo will let him hold it

Yeah, I'm a big Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, but that song seems like a weird choice. Though it is better than that generic song they used last year and that "Big Time" one from Wrestlemania 22.

- In a bit of a flashback note Matt Striker was chosen to be Big Daddy V's manager in case the fans cheered the monster. The feeling being that fans hate Striker so much that they wouldn't get behind the former love machine. WWE feel that striker is much more of an asset as a manager than a wrestler as he is strong in every aspect but pure wrestling.

This is the best thing WWE can do for him. He's establishing himself as a good mouthpiece and really helped push BDV over as a heel.

Wouldn't mind seeing Striker with a few other people in a Heenan family like stable.

I'm still surprised about the wrestling, his matches in USA Pro weren't bad.

Stevie returning? Good. Although he's pretty much been a jobber for life, he's good in the ring. His matches with Punk are always entertaining, and he had a good showing when they did the weekly elimination tournament deal in ECW a while black. Bill him as an "original" and give him some sort of run as face, ECW needs 'em.
