Love the Vader design. Very medieval yet futurtistic.

why did you change aayla? the whole point of her character is mixing beauty and grace with jedi power.

She's still beautiful and graceful...she's just not "sexy" like the original Aayla.

Dorky, do you mind if I make a request?

Could you draw and color another Darth Vader design? Nothing against your other one. It just doesn't catch my particular taste.

I'd like to see a more...."advanced" version of the classic look (In other words, a design that looks very similar to the classic suit, but looks more metallic and cybernetic).

I'll see what I can do. What about my concept do and don't you like? I personally like the helmet (it's once of the few revised concepts that I've done that I actually like).

My only problems with the design are the length of the mask, the shape of the helmet, and the body garments.

And...that's YOUR opinion. Not everyone has to like the redesign, but he definitely could have said that he didn't like it in a better way. Maybe someone played an April's Fools joke on him and he was mad when he posted, I dunno =p.

Apparently you are stupid because you didn't think the design was 100% perfect, /shrug.

I never said it was a bad concept. It just didn't click with me, that's all.

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! I guess my post wasn't clear...I was laughing that Boom said "the only problem" with the design was, like...every part of the design.

    I love that Vader.

C'mon, DorkyFresh...I've heaped numerous praises on you for your work...I guess I should have quoted Boom.

    Geez...sorry.

    Seriously...it was just a sarcastic comment...my bad.

That is awesome. I always thought some of Ralph MacQuarrie's vader concept art was better that the final version - yours reminds me a bit of some of that.

I always thought it would be cool in Episode 3 if Anakin became Vader and got some form of the armour BEFORE he had the accident and bacame a cyborg. That armour could have been something like this.

I absolutely love the flattened look of the mask.

Wow, that's incredibly similar to a drawing I did years ago, as either a prequel anakin/Vader or "sequel" Luke.

What the hell. May as well show these. These are years old, very rough, unfinished and really quite crap, but you get the idea.

The Anakin/Vader with the mask and long hair, well, imagine it with a mask more like DorkyFresh's (sans helmet). In fact imagine DorkyFresh drew all these :)

The Yoda is what he might have looked like hundreds of years ago. This was drawn maybe 8-9 years ago.

Thank you! I sometimes forget that it's hard to convey sarcasm through the written word...it's like that episode of Simpsons all over again.
