Agreed, all the other Marvel posters have been pretty much the same style from Ironman to the Avengers. Not even tried anything different.
I don't think this:

looked like this:

Mangold definitely says the right things and seems to have it exactly right. I really hope the film lives up to what he's saying. I'm getting excited about the film now, not too long to go!

Cant see the first pic but it seems they have all this rich history of artwork and diverse comics with different styles but never seem to use it for films, always just using photographs of the actors, not saying they are bad just I would like to see a little more art work to go with my movie posters these days.

Yeah I'm sure they said the right things before the last one too and X3, but hopefully they have learnt from them, at least these previews are positive and if they are willing to show large parts of the film off already thats a better sign than it being kept totally under wraps.

Thats a nice banner, liking the look of the female characters in this.

Banner looks much better than the recent poster featuring those three. The image meshes a lot better and Viper isn't left feeling like the odd one out.

The new character posters look nice!

And it looks like this is gonna be the best superhero film of this year!

A premiere in Australia for a good cause - FYI, Fay Duncan is Hugh's mother-in-law.

Fight Cancer Foundation to benefit from The Wolverine film launch in Hawthorn East on July 24

HUGH Jackman has thrown his bulging biceps and ripped abs into the fight against cancer.

The Fight Cancer Foundation will receive all proceeds from the Australian premier of Jackman’s new movie, The Wolverine, which will launch at the Rivoli Theatre.

Foundation president Fay Duncan made the announcement at Bistro Thierry in Toorak earlier today, confirming the premier would be held simultaneously in Melbourne and Sydney on July 24, before opening to the public the next day.

Mrs Duncan said they were "delighted" to have the opportunity to host the superhero film.

"The Wolverine movies are blockbusters and hugely anticipated around the world," Mrs Duncan said.

"Fight Cancer Foundation is honoured to be given the Australian premiere."

Ms Duncan made the announcement at a thank-you luncheon for Bistro Thierry restaurateur Thierry Cornevin.

Mr Cornevin was recognised for his support of the foundation, raising more than $180,000 in the past five years.

Mr Cornevin created Dîner Rouge, which included staging special degustation dinners. He donated all proceeds to the foundation.

"I understand that cancer touches us all at some time in our lives and that up to 40,000 Australians die each year from cancer," Mr Cornevin said.

"I have committed to supporting the Fight Cancer Foundation and I am thrilled the dinners have become sell-out successes and we have provided such substantial support."

The Melbourne premiere will be at Rivoli Cinema, Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East, on Wednesday, July 24.

Never seen those trenchcoat ones.

All the First impression on the 20 min shown sound pretty solid. Everyone is saying the action is great, better then the trailers led on and Wolverine is full berserker.

New BTS photo.

Between Henry Cavill in Man Of Steel and Hugh Jackman in Wolverine, they are certainly setting new standards of how cut our live action superheroes can get. Jackman looks to be in his best shape ever.

Not bad shape, not bad at all much like myself...:sus

I see, a world premiere tour! :woot:

i was feeling lukewarm about the movie, but from what i have been reading about the 20 min preview many people from the media got to see i heard nothing but great things about.

saying that it blows out Origins and X3 out of the water and that it's more in line with X1 and X2 in terms of quality. gotta say, i am now looking forward to it.
