A little trailer for Logan Noir. Some of the shots are just wow in monochrome.

Amazing.
It's also perfect considering Laura's comic book origins. Kyle listened to the song as he created her, wrote the lyrics to the song on the cover of the miniseries scripts, cried when he saw the first trailer....I'm sure someone out there may think the choice was very on the nose, but "Hurt" really was the perfect song for this trailer.
Watching any trailer for this film never gets old to me.
Agreed, but it was such a shame it wasn't used in the actual movie.
Plus The Man Comes Around is a much better fit anyways. I love the symbolism between going from Hurt to The Man Comes Around.I'm glad, if they played it in the end I would never ever stop crying and it was hard to stop as it was
Wolverine vs X-24 in the farmhouse looks amazing in monochrome. Wowsa.
And be honest, how many of yall winced when X-24 stabs Logan in the armpit?
“It’s a great question. Look, I think for all of us, at the moment, and for some of us it goes back to the very first time Hugh put on the costume. The idea of casting someone else as Wolverine is just not something I can think about,” he shared with a laugh. “And I don’t know. There’s part of me that thinks that he’s done such a brilliant job and is so iconic in the part, that we should leave it alone. And yet, I know there’s always a possibility that either we find a story, or a situation comes along where you think, ‘OK, maybe we should consider that.’ But at the moment, we’re kind of leaving that alone.”
“I literally had written an opening which started with that sequence,” said Mangold. “And so it was quite literal, who was dead. But the reason we didn't do it wasn't to spare other films, it was that it redefined the movie. It made the movie about the X-Men, instead of being about Logan and Charles. And irrevocably, when you read the script opening that way, it became about this other tragedy, as opposed to that tragedy being something hovering like a shadow in the background for these characters.”
Hutch Parker says they have no plans on a recast anytime soon

I'll say this again, I don't think the original designer knew what a wolverine was either.
i know what they say but quite honestly i don't know how they get around it.
wolverine is most popular x-men character.that's equilvent of carrying on dceu without batman.some continue to insist they plan to catch up to present.having no wolverine creats more contunity errors.
if they stick to 1990's with main x-men films they can get away poentialy for next trilogy without wolverine.
if they are really serious about this it raises odds they won't keep x-23 isolated from rest of films.they may very well include her in x-force.let's remember x-23 replaced wolverine in comics.
if anything this interview if parker is serious says there is no reboot of x-men planned anytime soon.
