Perhaps Yukio shows him the sword and he remembers pieces of it. Just like when he saw the adamantium lab in X2 and he remembered some pieces of his past.

From looking at the trailers and other videos it seems the mech silver samurai usually has a red/orange glow to his katana. This makes me believe it is Harada using his mutant abilities to the suit. Unless the orange glow to the Katana is just a regular thing the robot suit does.

But if you look at tv spot #2, at the end Logan has the same type of katana.

Perhaps Logans katana becomes charged after it touches the charged silver samurais blade. Depends how Haradas mutation works.

I'm curious why the ID of the Silver Samurai is such a big secret? I don't mind it...I think it's kinda nice. But I'm pretty sure the SS is NOT Harada. I'm betting it's Old Man Yashida.

Same way he managed to remember his name was Logan, like in the comics.

He has all kinds of flashbacks in the comics and in the movies, so it's entirely likely that this is the case here.

Do they ever make it clear that it was 1981 or is that a rough guess. Considering that the 1st X-men movie came out in 2000 & after the young Magneto flashback it says "In the not too distant future" & the fact that in X2 Styker says it's been 15 years I would have guessed the end of Origins would be about 1989,87 or 88.

I'm guessing the same thing. It would be disappointing if Harada never wears the armor. I have a feeling we will be getting another slap in the face fake Deadpool treatment.

Well it won't really bother me...you have to do what's best for the story on screen. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Think it's a little too soon to say it's best for the story on screen. If it turns out that Harada isn't SS then it's just another unnecessary change for no reason other then a screen writer and or directer trying to be creative with something that has been fact for years.
