Did King’s German publisher Heyne jump the gun on announcing King’s next book? Well, they did announce it. The release date is June 12 next year and the title is You Like It Darker. They even have a cover already…

Hopefully the US and UK announcements will follow and maybe then we’ll know what stories will be included.

So, dear people. I'm seeking to read another book by Stephen. And I've narrowed it to 2 options:

Pet Sematary.

Salem's Lot.
Now, I probably will eventually read both, but.

Which one would you recommend if I were to read only one?

Now, I've seen the IT Movies, Cujo, and other movies, but I've only read Carrie, Cicle of the Werewolf, and On Writing (My favourite). I prefer more standalone stuff, and more classic vibes to my horror, and both options seem to be up my alley, but I'd like your input.


A Cujo Sequel? Hopefully he will remember having written this one.

Great news for all fans of Joe Hill. He just confirmed on Bluesky that his upcoming book King Sorrow will be about as long as NOS4A2 (just over 700 pages) when it’s released in 2025.

CARRIE, 50 YEARS TODAY!​

Today we celebrate that it’s 50 years since Carrie was released and King became a published author. Today he has published a total of 88 books during 50 years. That is an average of 1,76 books a year, every year, for 50 years. Very impressive if you ask me.

Personally, I want to take this opportunity to thank Steve for all the stories and hopefully there are many more to come. Thanks Steve and congratulations on 50 great years!

Now something might be thinking "Didn't I read somewhere that Carrie was released on April 5, 1974?". Well, you might. Some online sources list the release date for the book as April 5th, others as April 4th. It’s up to each and every one to decide what date you want to see as the release date (it’s hard to know for sure with such an old book) but what makes me believe that April 4 is the correct date is that King himself says so in the invitation to the book's 25th anniversary party.
