I grew up in New Hampshire and now I live in New Mexico. Winter here is freakin' awesome. It's basically New England spring, but without the rain.
Summer sucks here though. No humidity, but when you're in the triple digits all the time, it doesn't really matter. And the sun here is sooooo intense. I understand how that works, but I burn so much faster here than I ever did in NH. Also, in New Hampshire, there was water everywhere so you could escape the heat. Here, there's no beach, no lakes, and public pools are pretty weak. NM has a pretty big drought problem (we are in the desert after all) and it's like damn near sacrilege to have a pool. I went to Phoenix once. Also the desert. Everyone there has a pool. I don't get it.
Give me a winter in the 50s-60s with no rain or snow ANY time.
