Right from Krypton, the superman outfit comes for the untitled Superman/Batman movie. As previously stated by the suit designer it seems the Man of Tomorrow's costume will have some minor changes. You will find here; fan-arts, news, discussion, official pics, statement and stills related to the Last Son of Krypton suit.

I REALLY hope the glyph is not added to the cape. As far as the Superman suit is concerned, I just think it's going to be minor changes that will barely be noticeable. I mean, the suit is Kryptonian. What reason would there be for Superman to add anything to the suit? I highly doubt they are going to make a drastic change like that and not address it in the movie. The MOS suit was perfect just the way it was/is.

I'm hoping that it stays the same as in MoS. I can't think of a natural reason within the story to change it.

I doubt we'll see any story influenced changes to the superman suit.

Maybe the colors will change slightly.

I don't think they should add the 'S' on the back of the cape. There was something majestic about the long, red cape.

The cape was beautiful how it was, the best I have ever seen, there should be absolutely no changes to it.

I open this thread to speculate and discuss about the possible modifications of the MOS suit in "World's Finest" and pics that will be getting soon.

let me begin first :yay:

Do you think one of the modifications to the MOS SUIT is adding the yellow shield to the cape?

You know the thread is not only for discussing the shield on the cape..
It's more like what changes do you think?, MOS2 suit new images that will hit the web, and speculation about those little changes that the suit may have
;)

I'm hoping for the tshirt/jeans costume from Action Comics to appear in some form. Not sure how or why though. Maybe Clark left his suit at home and decides it'd be faster to grab a "Superman" tshirt from the store and throw it on fast to take care of whatever problem has popped up? Or maybe he adopts it purposely to say "I consider myself an Earthling" rather than flying around in obviously alien attire? Or maybe it's just simply easier to wear a tshirt under his normal clothing than to wear that Kryptonian armor under? Or maybe the Kryptonian suit is damaged somehow: Kryptonite, nuclear blast, etc.?

no changes....period. Ditch the damn filter they added and the yellow will be VERY bright and the colors in general will be much bright as well

I've said this in a couple of threads now but I really hope the suit returns and only changes made is brighten colors and maybe remove the hip lines

I am a strong supporter that they saturate the colors and that's all. Otherwise keep it exactly the same. As a matter of fact they don't even need to touch the actual suit at all. Just don't darken it in post. I was watching the behind-the-scenes and the suit looked amazing in the natural light. It's when he standing in front of a green screen when it goes pale. So I can see why that's going be hard to match.

I'd be glad if they got rid of the hip lines other than that I'm pretty happy with the suit. Well other than the color timing..

Yeah, I don't want it to change at all. It is IMO the best live action superhero costume.

I want it to change, and I really do think it should change. Not necessarily a radical change, but a significant and noticeable change from what was in MOS.

What they did in MOS is fine, but whatever design they go with needs to be brought closer to whatever the Batman design will be. Batman and Superman's suits need to have a very similar visual aesthetic. And due to the very alien nature of it, thats not possible if the suit is left as-is.

And honestly, that, in and of itself, could be a reason why he changes it in the film: Its too alien. Or rather, to similar to that of Zod and his crew.

I feel like that was the entire point. His suit is meant to have an alien feel to it. Why would that change for his next adventure?

brighten up the suit's colors a bit and a yellow or black "S" on the cape, done :D

I just prey snyder and co open up to the idea of damaging their precious suit a bit.
Granted, it's going to be fun explaining how it's then fixed in film, but that could be an innate property to the tech.

No changes to the suit. If you keep tweaking it, you risk getting into a situation like Marvel has with Captain America, where they keep tweaking it just to appease the purists.

I wouldn't mind the yellow part of Superman's emblem being actually presented as yellow and not goldish white.

Leave the suit alone. If you want to shoot it with brighter lighting or saturation then fine. But otherwise, keep it the way it is.

You mean actually trying and succeeding to improve it and keep it fresh?

I agree with most of the people here, NO CHANGES TO THE SUIT.

The director of cinematography will be different and as we saw it on Man of Steel the fabric of the suit itself react differently regarding the lighting of the scene.

So the suit will look different in a way (brighter, sharpened details, I don't know).

No, I mean making pointless changes because some people made fun of the way the mask looked in The Avengers. It was damn near perfect, but some fans acted like the fact that his ears didn't stick out was some sort of travesty. So they made sure they did in the new costume, which looks even LESS like the comic book version than either of the two prior suits. Instead, it's modeled after some alternate suit that no one except a few diehard fans will recognize. They should have just stuck with what they had.
