Sorry Kal, but I don't trust the reviews for the movie. I think I'll enjoy it, but I won't base my opinion on the reviews coming out.

Many of them are tarnished due to Ledger's death, and praise will be heaped no matter what because of that.

My dark knight adventure was hell.

I went to the midnight showing, they screwed up and couldn't get the movie playing until 15 minutes later. Then, in the middle of the climax, the projector shuts down. Theater crew comes in, tells us that the final reel melted. So I'm still yet to see the end.

TDK is soo awesome, that it melted.

Haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but I'll try to get around to it and Hellboy II this weekend.

BTW, nice to see you posting again Hulk.

Oh, the one thing I will say: parents, don't bring your kids.

No one under 13 should be seeing this movie. It's violent as hell.

To be perfectly honest, I hate kids. I might actually smile if some kid starts crying when he sees Heath Ledger acting insane.

I can't see it until next weekend, mostly because I promised a friend I wouldn't see it until he could, and he is working out of town this weekend.

My wife doesn't want to see it. :(

Hard to believe that people would be stupid enough to go to a 2.5 hour movie that late at night when they have to get up in the morning and work.

*yaaawn* :O

Aside from a few minor gripes, I loved it.

I went to a 2:30am showing of the last LOTR (the midnight was sold out) in good ol Hollywood...it ended at 6:00am, i went home, changed and went to work..and yes, I shall never ever do that again, lol. but it was fun:)

I'm very 'meh' about seeing the dark knight. I will get the DVD for sure but I'm not all that concerned about the cinema release.

Heya Trip.

Our world domination scheme fell through. :(

*Huggsies back*

I miss the regular crew...it's all complaining newbies now.

That's what happens when you fail to pay your employees.

Yeah, we need to get back to planning that...

:D

Yeah, me too... Too many complainers everywhere. Seeing it alot on livejournal too.

It's just everywhere, makes me glad to be a spoiler phobe. I'm not around as much to even see it.

Yeah, you know. You're probably right.

I never got even a dime from Brainy.

I should get a raise if he wants my help taking over the planet.

;)

Sorry eh...Kaboom handled the finances....and I think he ran off with the spoils. :csad: :cwink:

Yea, I have been pretty much avoiding Smallville forums, since I just enjoy the show..no matter how mindless it gets at times. I just don't understand that if you really don't enjoy a show with such vehemence...then why run to watch it every Thursday. It just does not make any sense.

If it wasn't so expensive to buy those Sharks with laser beams attached to their heads, then I would have been able to pay you guys. It's just those sharks are expensive...not to mention the cost of laser beam parts. ;)

:lurks: :lurks:

psst over here.

:wow: What The Hell ??????? Go see the movie it's worth it . don't just wait until the dvd release . See it in the theater .

Just wanted to pop in to say that Batman kicked tons of ass, I loved it:) I can't imagine what any complaints would be, but Heath is going to be very hard to replace if they bring the Joker back.

heh some young kid was getting carried out of my theater by his Dad and completely hurled all over the stairs on the way down. Too many SnoCaps, I'm guessing :)

Other than that the movie was freaking awesome

I'm not sure I liked the ending, not completely understanding why they're going in that direction, but the twists and turns of the story were awesome...

The action was fantastic.

And Heath Ledger was AWESOME!

His Joker will never be topped. Insane, but very smart. What a great performance from him...

Not sure he'll get a posthumous Oscar, but he deserves something for that.

I think a nomination is a surefire lock, but its hard to say if he'll actually win.

I just can't imagine them bringing another Joker back for a very long time. Not only because of Heath's death, but because his performance was DEFINING, and it's almost incomprehensible to think anyone would try to follow it.
