We wont see her until may 2012

The only thing we will see is selina in trailer 2,but not in her Catwoman suit.
i'm 100% sure of that.

And i also think that she will be the white knight.

I don't agree with this.

The thing that seperates Batman from all other comic book heros, is not his mythos, its his rogues Gallery.

Batman is the most succesful of all the major franchises because of Batman, Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler, etc.

The traditional villians are as Iconic as the Cape Crusader himself. The standard movie goer doesn't have that relationship with other characters. Sure fan boys do, but not average people.

Most people have no idea though who Bane is, he is not a traditional popular villian, he not Iconic at this time with average people. Sure us fan boys know, but not my wife or daughter however. they can spot the rest on TV in a flash.

The antipcation for Batman > the All other movies at the moment. To continue that from here on out, would be to you show some Catwoman hints, or teasers to keep people intrested.

just my two cents.

Interesting point...however, I think people are sick of seeing catwoman.

I'm actually really curious because batman begins was a re-boot but arguably like you said didn't use iconic villains. Ras Al Ghul and Scarecrow aren't that relatable especially being absence from the 1960s show and not having prominent roles in TAS. (Yes they were in it, but not very often.)

It'll be interesting to see how this fares up, batman begins was a delayed success. Not until the DVD sales for this movie skyrocketed did people realise, and then with TDK.

My thoughts are that this movie should be able to piggyback TDK's success and hopefully be just as successful or even more so.

Yeah, my brother asked me who the villain and had no idea who Bane was. But when I mentioned Catwoman also was in it he got excited.

I think Nolan and Hardy might make Bane iconic for the GA. Would be cool.

Thats true, but BB was an amazing movie but it did not finicial set the bar like TDK which included the Joker.

TDKR (sorta) at the cover of the next issue of Empire! I don't think there's anything inside though based on their description.

Empire's Judge Dredd Cover Unveiled
Plus Spidey and The Dark Knight Rises

That's right, it's time to release the brand new Empire cover (out this Thursday, July 28), and needless to say, this month's issue is an absolute cracker. For starters there's Karl Urban as Judge Dredd glowering menacingly into your magazine-buying eyes, flanked on either side by Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man and Christian Bale's Batman for The Dark Knight Rises.

Not a bad little team, we think you'll agree... Inside the actual issue itself you'll be happy to discover 12 ever-so-very exclusive exclusives, including John Carter, Man Of Steel, The Avengers and Men In Black 3. Yep, we've really got the lot this time – after all, this is the Heroes Of 2012 issue we're talking about.

Then there's an amazing collection of unseen Jaws photography for you Spielberg afficionados to feast your eyes on, as well as everything you need to know about Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Not forgetting Olly Moss' Ollywood and all the other brilliant regulars you (hopefully) know and (ideally) love.

Trust us, it'll make that train journey / uber-long bath / bus trip to Bangor / space shuttle expidition just fly by in a flurry of high quality journalism and pictures of Karl Urban kicking doors in. You know, just the way you like it.

Excited? Check back tomorrow for an in-depth preview of just what's going on inside Empire's latest issue, just to whet your appetite even more.

This month's Empire is on newsstands Thursday, July 28, but if you've already subscribed you should have your copies now, or within the next couple of days or so. Lovely
.

Believe in him all you want; it's not happening in this movie.

you have no right to mash my hope like that...
you know that hat comes right off right? val's not actually a cow boy

see, how'd that make you feel... you leave my crocodillian delusion alone alright?

i believe in waylon jones

so i just saw one of those commercials for the new arkham game...

where the cop says something to effect of: we thought we had him trapped but he was waiting for us.

and the cop sounds like bale's hockey pads voice... it made me smile

Empire did get a couple of exclusive promo shots for TDK (one of them being the Joker in the jail cell) but I can't see us getting anything like that this soon.

The idea of Bruce going back around the world to be imprisoned for invesitgative purposes is very intiguing and I like the sound of that. But would it be right for Bruce to disappear from Gotham again while Bane could still be there? Would Catwoman try to take his place for a while? Batman could be gone in this film. And obviously the city would be suffering due to what Bane is doing to it. And when Bruce finally decides to return as Batman, he travels the world and leaves Gotham and train again? Those are some of the things I'm unsure about.

But Bruce being in the batcave training and relearning everything is a great idea too. Use a flashback of a new moment with Bruce and Ra's at some point in his training in BB and what he tells him and that would be cool.

But perhaps the amount of time he is gone to relearn everything is neccessary?

So have they started filming in Pitts today? Setting up? Did anyone go down to that street that they were closing down? Get any set pics? Anything?

Just noticed tweets saying that?! Where was filming supposed to be today?

according to kvz5

July 25 to Aug. 5:

Dithridge from Fifth Avenue to Winthrop Street, 5 a.m. Monday to 10 p.m. Friday

I'm surprised no one has gone up to that street and start taking photos. Batfans in Pittsburgh are getting lazy. :o

just saw this tweet

kevinolearytv Kevin O'Leary

Just saw the batcave being built in stage 30 on the MGM lot but they would not let me take a pic for you Its fantastic I'm a huge Batman fan

They do switch up studios all the time. I remember when I was getting to tour the Universal Studio lot they were filming some of the New York scenes for SM2 on the Universal Lot. There are many times that studios rent out the others studios, especially if they are booked or what not.

Do they do that in Hollywood? Loan out lots to other studios?

I believe "rent" or "lease" would be a more appropriate word.
and I have no idea if they do this or not.
It could be Kevin is mistaken and it is a WB lot.
Maybe it used to be an MGM lot and WB bought it?

but this guy is pretty reputable. Can't say I can think of a reason he would lie.

Well WB and MGM have a partnership now with The Hobbit and so forth, so with MGM being kinda low on funds I think WB and them have a decent relationship now. So it would not surprise me at all that they are using those.

That makes sense regarding the leasing and partnerships. Unless there is an upcoming MGM movie that requires a cave setting?

Sure, by strict definition. But it's all the same concept.

As for him lying, I don't think he would do that, but is it possible he's mistaken and it's not the Batcave?
