I noticed that immediately. I hope we get a little info eventually on what influenced this take on Bane like we did for Ledger's Joker. I'm sure Nolan is a fan of the Alien films.

I think we set ourselves up for disappointment when we try to go off of TDK's timeline. Outside of trailers, I think TDKR will have it's own timeline and won't share the same release window that TDK did.

i'm hoping we get something during NYCC. it's in october, so hopefully that's around the time filming will take place on the east coast.

If there's something at Wizard Con it will probably be footage that no one outside Wizard con gets to see.

Yeah, I think we can't really base anything on TDK's timeline anymore.

Someone mentioned that there's a Con happening at the weekend of Aug 13-14? Is that the Wizard one? They're filming on Aug 10, 12, 13 and 14. Only free date is the 11th.

I feel like if we were to get something, it would be at New York Comic Con during the fall. They were filming in Chicago summer 2007 so it'd be convenient to show up at Wizard World CC, and that's obviously not the case this time around. Wasn't there a rumor they'd be filming in NYC/Newark NJ in October?

It wouldn't be the first time they showed something at NYCC. The 2008 NYCC was held in Mid-April and that's where we were treated to the third TDK trailer a few weeks in advanced.

I guess my best bet to keep my sanity would be to stop caring about the film for the next year and hype myself back up a few weeks before release. It worked in '07. Let's see if it does again.

Wasn't it confirmed they were not gonna be there? Not surprising at all.

I'm not in a rush to see Catwoman either, I think they're releasing stuff at a good pace.
