Or he's researching information that we already have in order to provide a full, detailed account of everything that's happened up to this point.

If there's one thing to be learned from the past, it's this:

Expect nothing.

I didn't say I think he'd mess up the film but, I'd like personally to not retread that ground.

If he does it I have all the faith in the world it will be done amazingly.

I have a feeling that with Ra's (Probably) gone that this LoS will be very different from the one we saw in BB. Less of a retread and more of an evolution.

Well, if it's detailed then it's more than what we have already right? :woot:

That's exactly what I expect which is essentially a meaty slice of nothing.

Sad but true.

Agreed. And it might be nice to showcase that the LOS aren't a perfect ideological group. Bane could be the corruption inside it.

Yes, that sounds more interesting, but Bane working for Los? doesnt sound so exciting, part of what makes Bane who he is is that he usually works alone, he doesn´t need to wrk with someone else to break Batman. And making him the leader of Los would technically make him Ra's (at least in title, like it was suggested in BB) and that just doesnt seem right.

What about Bane working with the LoS as Scarecrow did in BB?

Wasn't this what BB told us, minus Bane?

I just don't want to see them back, I think there's a lot to do in this film and Ra's being in it excites me as he is a major part of Bruce's life.

the entire LoS though does not excite me. I'm not afraid of over-crowding; just not getting the best story we could get.

Regardless, I have the upmost confidence that this film will be strikingly amazing

Perhaps Bane isn't the leader. And he wouldn't have to be a puppet just because he's playing second fiddle in the group.

Not a puppet, but both working for the same goal - to bring down the Bat Man!

On another topic, does anyone here knows exactly what that LIDAR thing is being used for? It's on Paul Franklins twitter. Of what i've read it is used to scan things on set ( or the entire set or enviroment) to get a 3d model after that. I don't know if it's used only on specific scenes to add/correct some things in post, or if they do it with all the scenes they can to have a complete record of every place they've been filming.

I dont know if this is any indication of VFX being used for these scenes, that's why i'm asking this, not trying to be off topic here.

Good question... Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with any of that.

Speaking of Paul Franklin's tweets, can we make anything out of the stuff in their trailer? I want to see what's written in the calendar but all I can see is the box of snacks. :hehe:

Could they scan an area and then reconstruct it via CGI and then add shots from scenes not apart of that area to the reconstructed shot to make it seamless.

Maybe like landing a plane on a highway

or making a 3D model that's anatomically correct to a certain real place for miniatures

Who is the guy in that pic^? Thats not Franklin is it?

And the calendar is interesting, I dont know if its unique just to the Pittsburgh shoot but they arent shooting on Sundays or Mondays, and on that calendar Mondays appear to be work days. And the 4th looks to have lots of interesting colors on it.
Hmmm.

I love how we are being detectives and trying to dissect this guy's trailer for clues about the TDKR shoot. We're awesome, and maybe a little desperate :woot:

It's just part of the early news phase. Once the news picks up, I'm sure our desperation will turn to giddy excitement as we debate which guy-in-a-clown-mask is actually the Joker. Or whatever the equivalent is for this movie.

Batman would be proud of us. :ybat:

It's all part of the fun :awesome:

Absolutely. This is a WWBD? moment. WWBD? He would dissect the hell out of this photo, that's what.
