Cool info, thanks! A priest suggests there might be a new death...

Not exactly. Sine there were child extras at one of the scenes (for the party?), it could also be a charity thing for children with the priest as their chaperon. I remember back then that someone said that there appears to be scenes shot at a church in Croydon so that might be related to this as well.

It's Christmas time and they're having a party at Wayne's with toys for the kids, who are coming from the church; whilst there the priest has a talk with Bruce Wayne about something life changing...

You know, as much as a repeat as it would be, I would love to see Batman charging at Bane in the bat pod in the middle of the street. And Bane just takes the front of the bat pod and slams it into the ground with Batman either flying or Bane catching Batman before he goes flying and slams him into the ground. I'd be a cool twist on the Joker moment.

Christmas, toys, possible expensive trinkets, crowds of people. . . I smell a reason for Bruce/Batman to not like Catwoman at first. Maybe she steals; maybe she doesn't; maybe it's just a charity event for story purposes.

I don't know if this topic needs it's own thread, but we should also be on the watch for anything possible that might happen at Wizard World in Chicago this year. For those who were there with me back in August 2007 remember at the last moment, they had the TDK panel with the footage they showed.

Would Catwoman steal from little kids?

No. She'd be stealing from those who are worse off than she is. That would make the character extremely unlikable, at least for me.

Since the info hunter thread was shut down, i've not heard much... have i missed anything?

Charity doesn't exclusively mean toys for tots. It's Gotham and the "who's-who" will be there. More than likely, some one would have donated a nice trinket for the cause of 'Poor Kids at Christmas,' or 'Cancer Victims of Gotham'.... who knows.

I hope this football scene is very short. I'm as big a football fans as you'll find, but I cringe at the thought. Filmmakers always have a way of making the game seem way too choreographed and superhuman and it really takes me out of the moment. I really hate this news, but its encouraging that Nolan is looking for extras with extensive football experience. Maybe some locked-out Pro's will get in on the action.

Like I said before, Nolan isn't recreating 'Any Given Sunday' here.

It will be a very short part.

Is she stealing from a rich person there, like pick pocketing, or stealing charity money? If she is a thief, she would be stealing to get herself out of the poor situation she is in. She wouldn't want to steal from those who are poor like her. I think that Catwoman needs to have some redemptive qualities, and I just don't think stealing charity money would give her any.

After the events in TDK, I wonder how the criminals are going to view the Batman. Do they think he just snapped and killed Dent or do they think he got bought/blackmailed into it. I originally speculated that Bruce hangs up the cowl early in the movie because he's being hunted by the whole city and in the wake Catwoman surfaces to pick where he left off. But, I'm thinking now that if criminals believed the Batman is insane and capable of murder (maybe that the Joker drove him over the edge) that they would be even more fearful of him and thus Gotham would actually be safer. You know because as Jason Todd said "Criminals don't fear Batman because they know he won't kill them" *note: not verbatim*

So she steals from Children's charities?

I read theres a scene where Bruce and Miranda go out on a date to the Football Stadium. Then they see Bane on the opposite side cheering " COME ON SELECAO BRASILEIRA!!!" :awesome:

Weird. In that interview Hardy said he doesn't know what he's doing or who he's playing in TDKR, but it looks recent (he's bald/bulked up).

I get the impression he was referring to Chris's general style, in that he probably didn't know who he was playing when he was asked to join the project, but obviously he's known about Bane since January.

He's just trying to say "DON'T ASK ME ANYTHING I CAN'T TELL YOU I ONLY KNOW SO MUCH" in a roundabout way :funny:

"please don't ask me about this movie, Nolan ninjas are all in this room and will slit your throat if you come close to a plot point"

He is clearly exaggerating to point out the ridiculous amount of secrecy surrounding this project.

I really don't understand this.
As a football junkie, I detest Hollywood's depiction of football on film, as it is so unreal that it takes me out of the moment. Therefore, I hope that isn't the case in this film and that if Nolan must show a football game taking place, that it looks as realistic as possible. Is that easier to follow?

I don't get why people are so upset over this. It's going to be in the background, that's it. The movie is about Batman, not the football game. Sheesh.

Lighten up, I never intimated that the film is about football. But I'm more than confident there will be close ups of the on-field action, and I hope it doesn't look as staged and ridiculous as football usually does in the movies. It's not a great big deal, I never said it was, just pointing out that it is one element of the film I have reservations about. I think you are more upset about my comment than I was about the possible football game footage.

So this party thing is a rather big deal i take it....
