This is a goddamn good movie, I am watching it on HBO right now. There is no better actor in Hollywood than Tom Hanks.

Its climaxing right now, he just went into the city.

Yea, I see what you mean, I would've liked to see him back on the plane.

I feel bad for Amelia character. She trapped herself in that loveless relationship, entirely invain.

its stupid.. i think spielberg should not have even bothered with that jazz story

the can of peanuts is intriguing, but if he was such a great director and a genius he would have had something more cooler in there.
a pack of condoms!.. do amelia and go back to crackoasia

Not his best work but it was a bit of fun I suppose.

For some reason I love this movie. I can't explain it because it seems like a movie that I would hate. Spielberg is just a genious. I just got done rewatching it again too Matt. Terrific film. The whole jazz/father story was just heartwarming. "He chit." :)

Not Speilbergs best film nor is it Hanks. Its a great premise but gets screwed up too many times to make the film that enjoyable. Its way too long too.

That being said Hanks does well in the role as the confused foreign guy and they have some really funny moments in the film.

This film was a huge letdown. And when I saw the ending the rest of the film was just bad.

i hate this movie, kinda biased though since i cant stand hanks

Didn't even like Castaway or Philadelphia??

I'm a huge Tom Hanks film and an even bigger Spielberg fan so I had to check this movie out. Loved it from beginning to the end. Very heartwarming, emotional, and brought a tear to my eye.

Yes, i'm not afraid to admit that.

Love a lot of Tom Hanks films but I thought this one wasn't as good as his other films but I really enjoyed how he was able to pass his time in the Airport the only thing though is I wanted him
to end up with Zeta-Jones
. But you gotta love what he did for his dad though

It was a great movie up till the final like 15 minutes. The airport manager became too much of a villian, for almost the entire movie, he was just a guy following the rules, then it seems like he has this vendetta against Hank's character that comes out of nowhere. Would've been much better if he let Hank's out of the airport with a handshake and "Sorry, I was just doing my job", Hank's sees the jazz player and ends with Hanks on a plane back to Krakosia. Very up till the final 15 minutes though was great, much better than I ever expected.

I dug this film because it wasn't trying to be awe-inspiring deep or a movie that was setting the standard, it was simply a good film. Anyway why are people comparing this to Speilburg or Hanks earlier work instead of on it's own merits.
