I though I read that headline before. Or maybe there was one very similar. Down to 7.8, inevitable I guess.

"Taika Waititi brings to the Thor table is an ability to match laughs with some genuine heart. The film is different, it is weird, there is a lot going on, but there is also a galactic portion of fun. This could be Marvel's first cult classic."

Cool. I guess these will weigh on the average bit unfortunately but at least all fresh.

This is going to get certified fresh at more than 95% now. Oh, my Norse God!

Taken on its own patchwork terms, Thor: Ragnarok is mostly diverting entertainment, though no match for what [Taika] Waititi can achieve on his own with a fraction of the budget.
Rating: 3/5

Alex Doenau (Trespass) said:
Taking a character who has become embedded in the popular psyche and doing something slightly twisted with them is a good way of ensuring continuity while thumbing one's nose at the familiarity of contempt.

That Jake Wilson is the one on my list. His review got posted at multiple publications.

If there's a rotten coming, this obviously won't last, but one more fresh and Ragnarok will be at 99% until a negative comes in.

Question now: Can Ragnarok manage to be the best-reviewed MCU film (by Tomato Meter, at least)?

We know it won't last, but it feels good looking at this:

The film is at its best in the brutish bromance between Thor and the Hulk as they [BLACKOUT]compete for the Valkyrie's affections and the title of the strongest Avenger[/BLACKOUT].

There's really no way of telling. All we know is that it's off to a great start(and no doubt heading for a great finish as well). Iron Man's 94% final score is hard to beat though.

99%! It does feel really f'ing good!

I don't think I've ever seen a movie climb up to 99 %.

It's great. I guess we'll get a few rottens in quick succession at some point.

Yeah it will, but I'm starting to get a 93%/94% vibe from this, even if the overall average may be lower than some of the other CBM's this year. This just seems like a big crowd pleaser type of film.

Zod damn !!!!!! I don't really care about the RT percentage but 99% with 67 reviews is simply great. The odds of the RT percentage going down below 90% must be very small right nao. Also that avg rating is very good and I like that. This is a huge win for Marvel.

Can you remember what kind of averages the other CBMs got? All in the 7s?

Even though it will drop, there's not much more that Marvel can do to produce a more crowd pleasing movie. They've mastered this art. :)
