Yea that leak is legit. No way they just guessed on a D lister like Cheetah. That's awesome tho, cuz that leaked roster was pretty sick. Looks like I'll be running all of my mains from last game with the awesome additions of Swamp Thing, Brainiac, Scarecrow, Cold, Grodd, Darkseid and Robin. What a kick ass roster. Good job NRS.

The leaker speculated that Cheetah would be Catwoman's skin, but wasn't 100% sure about it. Though I definitely see Freeze as Cold's skin since there's no way their gameplay would be different.

Plus with the rumors and high possibility of Sub-Zero being a guest, I doubt NRS is gonna wanna go with separate slots for three ice themed characters.

Cheetah isn't a D-lister. She's up there along with Ares and Circe as one of Wonder Woman's top enemies.

I'd say in the grand scale of the dcu she's at best a c-lister.

you figure with the WW film coming out this year, they'd want to include the villain who's in movie ( who I heard might be Ares ).

I was hoping Circe would be the main villain in the Wonder Woman film. That probably would have increased his chances of making the roster. Whether the base roster or DLC.

unless skins can actually change movesets and supers, it looks like Cheetah and Catwoman are separate characters.

Catwoman's super looks like it has her attacking with her whip while riding on her motorcycle.

Cheetah's super looks like it has her jumping on her opponent's back ( she does it to WW ).

Damn! 1/3 of the roster will be Batverse characters once again! DC never learns! Their over reliance on Batman and his world are why they'll always be in second place compared to Marvel. They refuse to utilize anybody else!

I completely understand people's disdain for the overabundance of Batman characters, but part of this is due to the average person being more familiar with Batman characters than any other DC hero. Which is mainly because of all the exposure he gets. However the problem with that is if they expose the same characters over and over again, they'll be stuck having to use the same faces and none of their lesser faces can go anywhere. By pushing the Batman characters more, they sacrifice a chance for other characters to gain recognition.

Compare that to Marvel, who went out of their way to make names like Iron Man, Thor, etc popular among non comic readers. As well as Guardians who were complete unknowns to the average joe before their movie. Marvel still gives Spider-man and X-men plenty of spotlight(though to be fair, Spider-man is Sony and X-men is Fox, as far as movies go, but I digress), but they're pushing the Avengers characters way more heavily than DC has ever pushed Wonder Woman or Flash.

Albeit, Green Lantern probably would have been as popular as Batman or even Superman if the general consensus of the 2011 movie was that it wasn't a disappointment.

Cheetah is Wonder Woman's most well known enemy outside maybe Ares. That would actually be a pretty easy guess since no one cared about Ares in the first game, and the only other WW villain to guess would be Circe or Cheetah, and Cheetah is far more well known.

...The trailer even has the two interacting separately, so they are obviously two different characters.

I dont think ive ever heard that from DC themselves but David Goyer (TDK, MoS) doesn't like him very much and i guess would prefer not to use him.
But I've never heard dc themselves down him.
