They could have also just made her look good overall, and not just better then the disaster from last time. If not for how bad the last game's version was, I don't think the answer would be, "well it is better then last time".

Street Fighter V fixed those type of cosmetic errors from Street Fighter IV. They just can't design women's faces Nether realm.

Considering they like to base these characters off MK characters, the amount of characters in that last game should give us a good indication.

So how many is this roster again at release?

The character selection screen had 28 slots so thats the amount of characters im expecting. Im not sure if the roster will be half villains and half heroes like last time though.

So far we have 9 confirmed characters:

HEROES: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Supergirl and Blue Beetle.

VILLAINS: Grodd, Atrocitus.

Harley Quinn, Captain Cold, and Dr Fate have been heavily hinted at

There's a rumor that the roster size is 28 so going by that size and Boon saying half the roster are returning characters logic would dictate only 14 returns. My guesses are:

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
The Flash
Aquaman
Cyborg
Green Lantern
Green Arrow
Nightwing
Lex Luthor
The Joker
Harley Quinn
Catwoman
Deathstroke

As far as new characters, well that's anyone's guess but Static has already been de confirmed, Red Hood and Power Girl have been hinted at just being armor modifications (if I'm remembering correctly) while Dr. Fate, Black Canary, and Captain Cold have all been hinted at. We already have:

Supergirl
Blue Beetle
Atrocitus
Gorilla Grodd



So we're off to a great start imo.
