The Thread of Injustice

I can't imagine it being true but I'm interested in the possibility.

well in an interview with game informer (I think that’s right) Ed Boone did let it slip that marvel contacted them but quickly said he couldn’t say anything else.

I couldn't imagine Disney licensing their property their direct competition but stranger things have happened.

they did allow the marvel lego games to be developed and those are published by WB Interactive so you never know...

Frankly, Netherrealm is one of the two companies able to make a fighting game that would be able to hit high expectations from Marvel. If you want to have a Spider-man level hit. The only other company that has made a blockbuster fighting game was Nintendo with Smash. ARC System Works is close, though with DBFZ.

Hm, rumor seems more vague than those about MK12 and Injustice 3...but i wouldnt say no to a Marvel Fighting game done by Netherrealm.

Lets see where this rumor goes.

I doubt it happens. But a Marvel fighting game made by Neatherrealm couldn't possible be worse than the Marvel VS Capcom Infinite. Imagine those graphics similar to Mortal Kombat 11, it would be Marvelous!

After seeing Superman, I would love an Injustice 3. I want it to take place in the Prime Universe, with the Regime Superman leading an invasion of it after taking Brainiac's technology for himself. This would be the reverse of the first game, where the Prime Universe heroes were pulled into the Injustice Universe. In this case the Injustice Universe would be invading the Prime Universe and crossing over with it. Prime Superman should be the lead protagonist, as he's the only one who can truly stop Regime Superman.

New to the roster: Mr. Terrific, Metamorpho, and Guy Gardner as GL would be great additions.

DC announced their next big event in comics today. It sounds quite similar to Marvel's Contest of Champions.

NetherRealm could base off of it if they don't want to continue the Injustice universe.

Doesnt surprise me since Ed Boon constantly said they would do a new Injustice after MK.

Remember that story about Conroy being tricked into revealing a new Arkham game by a fan and WB started sending a ''minder'' with him to every con, to pull the plug on any panel before he let something slip? And that was a literal accident with the confusion of ORIGINS/KNIGHT.

Buckle up, George.

They literally sign NDA's and to tell a randomer straight out is crazy work.

I really hope Mr. Terrific is in Injustice 3, and it seems entirely plausible that'll happen. Clayface, as well. Granny Goodness would be a dream pick, I'd love to see what NetherRealm would do with her.

I wonder who they got to replace him. Roger Craig Smith (Arkham Origins/Arkham Shadow) or maybe Bruce Greenwood (Young Justice/Under The Red Hood)? Or maybe someone completely new?

I was thinking of a few possibilities:

1.) Diedrich Bader - has a built in fan base and it would be a nice way to pass the baton as they were friends and seemed very fond of each other. Apparently, Bader helped to organize Conroy's memorial.

2.) Anson Mount - He has already voiced an 'Injustice' version of Batman, did interviews about the animated movie with Boon, so there is familiarity there. Could be an easy transition.

3.) Attempt to find a voice that sounds close enough to Conroy (and no, Roger Craig Smith has never sounded like Conroy to me). Although Smith or Baker would work well in their own right.

4.) The most likely option, which is to bite the bullet and simply hire someone new.

Also, this will sadly be the first time Susan Eisenberg will voice Wonder Woman without Kevin as the voice of Batman
