Nah. I am sick of MJ kidnapping. I'd prefer he stalks her and maybe scares her ****less in a cab but does not physically harm her. He is just trying to get under Pete's skin and psyche him out before battle.

I much prefer how TAS did it in episode 10 Venom, and for the record I think that show is the best incarnation of Venom (despite a crappy Carnage). And the way he haunted Peter's friends and family and called him Tiger, etc. Just pitch perfect.

I've been watching this forum fo quite a while, and i think this has'nt been brought up yet. here goes: the ring that we see in the first teaser looks kinda xpensive, IMO. And we all know Pete's allways broke. So where did he get the $$$ to buy it? My theorie is: HE ROBBS A BANK!!! (You remember the daily bugle headline). If black spidey does go bad, i think there is a good possibilitie this might happen. what do u all think?

its a good idea, then again the film could be uplifting at the start, peters life is goin great and all, making his plunge even more dramatical, but i like the idea of the robbery

You guys are forgetting one thing : Peter doesn't have the "Emo/Symbiote" hairstyle in the scene where he drops the ring.

And another thing: Tobey had the "Emo/Symbiote" hairstyle on the day that they shot the scenes with the Daily Bugle headline in question.

So, I think the "bank robbery" happens later in the film.

No. The only thing that gets robbed with money in this is an armored car before Pete has the symbiote and it is regular Spidey vs. Sandman and Sandman gts away.

At the beginning he is attacked by Harry Osborn while out of costume (as he seems in the trailer and not in emo-mode) and after that Harry ****s with his mind and tempts MJ just trying to scare Peter and psyche him out. That is when "emo-Spidey" will kick his ass later on then.

My question is if Venom will only be used for one battle or if he will stalk/play mind games with Peter before the fight, which is what I really hope though.

With enhanced spidey senses and maybe drawing a little insight from his alter-ALTER ego , perhaps Peter beats Ditkovich and cronies in a poker match to pay his rent, gets over confident (symbiote at work), enters the WSOP and wins a buttload of cash.

On second thought, maybe it's just a Cubic Zirconia and he's hoping MJ won't mind. After all, she already knows what a poor-ass he is.

I dont know if this has been bought up before or not but has anyone else noticed that the normal red/blue Spidey on the left doesn't appear to have his chest emblem spider?

Maybe its just the quality of the picture, i dont know, but its been irking me for a while now. There seems to be some kind of black smudge where it should be but the thing is for spider-man 2 i know the costume department increased the size of the front spider so surely it should be visable in this picture. Instead all i can see is the grid pattern of the webbing.

Any way just thought i'd bring it up.
