sorry but i have to say i find these pics kinda strange...maybe because Tobey seems upset about Papparazzi, but, man, for a pregnant future wife, they walk pretty "independent" from each other...i expected a lil more love floating around...or maybe they just arent into pdoa...though i still find strange that he doesnt even look after her, too "care about you, i care about me"...

He obviously was not too happy about the papparazzi. Some stars love this kind of attention (Paris Hilton) many others hate it because they're been stalked 24/7.When you've got them following you around you do get a little awkward in public some times even around your loved ones.

Yes he is, But it isn't going to be easy Tobey's become a Superstar now thanks to his role in The spider-man movies . He is now famous and is know as Spider-man both by the media & The General people .

Do you mean to say that it's not going to be easy for Tobey to make a name for himself outside of the Spider-man films? If that is what you mean, I respectfully disagree. He had already made a name for himself with an outstanding body of quality work before Spider-man. He maintained that standard in between Spidey films with Seabiscuit and is doing so again with The Good German. With the Spidey films and Seabiscuit soaring over $100 Million gross each, Tobey can add "blockbuster film star" to his already impressive list of acting credentials. Peter Parker/Spider-man may be Tobey's most notable character, but it wasn't his first lauded role and it surely won't be his last.

I dont see Tobey Shaking off the Spider-Man typecasting. He's freaking Spider-Man. Unless he pulls a Harrison Ford and is cast in another hit trilogy as another memorable character then maybe. But I dont see it.

BTW even thought Ford is now Indiana Jones, He's still Best know for his role as Han Solo in The Original STAR WARS Trilogy .

if i were playing spiderman i would have no problems being typecast. Tobey has had sligth sucess in other movies. I think he will do fine even if he does other Spidey movies. typecasting is for idiots anyway. Any real movie fan or watcher knows that they are actors and they are playing a character, and that performance has nothing to do with previous ones, just the quality of job they do on that project. Hell, the only reson peopel freaked over Heath ledger is because he just played a gay cowboy that sounded like Karl from Sling Blade. But Ledger has done very well in other movies and i think he may actually pull joker off very well. Any real actor ignores typecasting jibber jabber and does projects that they enjoy or can bring something to. And hopefully Tobey will enjoy more. Since he already said multiple times in diff interviews from comic-con and whatnot that he(and most of the rest of them as well) would come back if there "were more good stories to tell" Which is what should judge any roll an actor takes. Well unless you suck and don't care and just do it for the money.

EDIT: pn the point of typecasting being for idiots, i completely forgot for a moment that at least 50-70% of americans and peopel world wide ARE in fact idiots. Sorry if i offended any of you

Does anyone have any good examples of actors that weresupposedly"typecast" but have done many other excellent projects and are still considered top notch? I saw someone said Harrison Ford, Excellent example, comming from indiana jones.

my example: Sean Connery, Played James Bond a bajillion times, yet still has had mass sucess in many other projects.
