Tobey Maguire should be somewhere on that list, but otherwise pretty good.

Ryan shouldn't be on the list regardless of how wade turned out in XO:W :o

wait a minute..why is Ryan in that list?

Even though Cillian was too young/pretty boy for Scarecrow, he still did a good job. I'm guessing that Katie Holmes doesn't count because her character isn't from the comic books?

"Susan Storm is one of the most accomplished scientific minds in the Marvel universe. The Invisible Woman and her husband often solve problems raised by other infamous heroes from Spider-Man to the X-Men."

Ok. Their credibility just went out the window. Sue is not a scientist. Never was.

:ff: :ff: :ff:

She is in the Ultimate Universe and the movies are a combo of the 616 and Ultimate universe.

I like to think they gave Deadpool his name because it’s easy to imagine him standing knee deep in a flood of corpses, all sliced in half and with bullets in their brains. Now, is that the extreme guy you think of when you look at Ryan Reynolds? Is he the type of cold-blooded assassin who leaves his blades behind when he raises the roof off a sorority house after faking an engagement to Sandra Bullock? Reynolds might have something to offer the comic book universe. Maybe as Flash, or even Havok, but for the sake of all that’s good and Marvel not Deadpool.
I take it they've never read a comic with Deadpool in it all the way through.

I thought Cilian Murphy did a great job, loved Batman Begins. Kirsten Dunst was great in the first two Spider-Man, the third she did well for what she had to do, not really that much text or anything. Topher Grace is far from the worst maybe on place 8th. Halle Berry was average but who did a really good performance in the X-Men-franchise (except for McKellen, Stewart, Jackman, Cox)? Never watched (and never will) Daredevil/Elektra/Fantastic Four or Watchmen so can't tell anything about them. For the rest i can agree with the list, perhaps a new nr. 1 George Clooney as Batman...

I definitely agree with Kirsten Dunst as MJ.

I agree with the female miscastings (and Ahnold's)

Ahnold's cool
I would have like to see him play the batman.
a movie about an aging batman and superman would be cool

Arnold as the Bat, Lou ferrigno as superman and linda carter... lois lane

^ that sounds definitely like something I would.................................download 10 after its release

Then they should have said the Ultimate Universe. I'll take 50 years of continuity over a universe that just got raped. Are we supposed to remember the Heroes Reborn universe too?

They don't know what their talking about. Don't excuse them.

:ff: :ff: :ff:

I agree more with Kirsten Dunst then anyone else on that list.

There HAS to be a better MJ out there than her...and what makes it even worse is the fact that she was going around during the promotion for "Spider-Man III" complaining about playing the character.

If she doesn't like it, she's more than free to leave so we can finally get a more worthwhile Mary Jane in there.

i really think that it was just that at the time, she was a rising star like Tobey, and Raimi saw potential in that.

I don't think she's a bad actress, but yeah she's not right for the movie. Mary Jane should be a sassy little redhead with sex appeal. Even if Mary was written like that in the movie, I don't think Kristen could do it justice. I think..personality wise, maybe a Lizzy Caplan type could do it.

Having Ryan Reynolds, the ultimate fanboy pick for Deadpool, on this list is just mind-boggling. I guess the writer just knows the name Deadpool and that he is a deadly mercenary/assassin. The humor/quirkiness of Deadpool is what sells the book, and Reynolds is perfect for that.

Cillian Murphy was also really good. He played Scarecrow pretty much exactly like I would picture the character being in real life, plus he has that kind of creepy, gangly look to him.

Also, when you look at the honorable mentions, it lists Kelsey Grammar as Beast. Say what you want about the film itself, but he was perfect casting.

the only issue with Cillain is that, physically besides being skinny, he doesn't exactly fit Crane though he made it work. Let's face it: He's a young dude..younger than bale i think.

10. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool (Wade Wilson) in X-Men Origins: Wolverine - whoever thought this is a crackhead

9. Matthew Goode as Adrian Veidt (Ozymandias) in Watchmen - I somewhat agree with this.

8. Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow (Jonathan Crane) in Batman Begins - I thought he was great a Crane

7. Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-man - I agree 100%. She is a terrible MJ

6. Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane in Superman Returns - She wasn't a good LL and had no chemistry with Routh's Superman either

5. Jessica Alba as The Invisible Woman (Susan Storm) in The Fantastic Four - I never pictured her as Sue Storm and she looked bad with the fake blonde hair.
4. Jennifer Garner as Elektra (Elektra Nachios) in Daredevil - I think she was ok as Elektra. nothing great though

3. Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze (Victor Fries) in Batman & Robin - Not Arnies best choices, but then again a Joel Schumacher Batman is not any actors best choice.

2. Halle Berry as Storm (Ororo Munroe) in X-Men - i think she was fine

1. Topher Grace as Venom (Eddie Brock) in Spider-man 3 - I think Topher was fine, it was the execution of venom that wasn't great.

You mean like..... "The Dark Knight Returns"?
Lou would be cool as Supes, except, and I hate to say it, they would have to do voiceover. Ahnuld should never play Batman. Or any character in the Batman universe. Ever again.

This is terrible. Especially the honerable mentions. Grammer and Kitsch? Please. The movies aside, they were amazing choices. Kitsch just needed a better accent.

I disagree with a couple of the choices on the list especially Storm. Kirsten Dunst should definitely be number 1 though.

Ryan Reynolds and Cillian Murphy should not be on that list. I thought they were both great in their roles, and it's not Reynolds' fault that Fox effed up his character. Also, it's debatable whether or not Jennifer Garner was a miscast. I think she's a good actress and could have done great stuff with the role, but again, I think Spike is placing blame for the Elektra movie's bad quality on Garner instead of on Fox, which is where it should be. Also, Matthew Goode wasn't bad as Ozzy in Watchmen so I don't know why he's on there, and I think Halle Berry's Storm is very underrated. I didn't look at the honorable mentions, but from what I can tell they kind of sucked.

And where is Ben Affleck as Daredevil? I thought fans hated him?

I disagree with the list with: Reynolds as Deadpool, Murphy as Scarecrow & Dunst as Mary Jane.

First of all, whoever thought that Reynolds was a bad choice for Deadpool. Take this into consideration... [BLACKOUT]HE WAS ONLY IN THE MOVIE FOR 5 ----ING MINUTES!!![/BLACKOUT]

Second, Cillian Murphy was a great Dr. Crane. But, he could've been an even greater Scarecrow if he had more screentime and if they actually allowed his character to do more than just stand still for the camera while they place some fancy CG-effect over his face. If they had allowed him to play a leading villain role, his performance could've really elevated the film in it's final act.

Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson... maybe. In the first film, she was just fine. I liked the way they were playing Mary Jane, and I thought that Dunst did an adequate job. Sue me. However, in the last two movies... What the ---- happened? Her character was just so unappealing and uninspired, it was like they just pulled her out of any generic soap opera. Ugh, terrible.

Cillian Murphy was a great Scarecrow. One of the best things in BB IMO.
