i think he will pull off master roshi just fine. he does very well as the over-serious master who trains his student with an iron fist and is great at martial arts. if he can mix that with a little comedy here and there, it will be good.

No,not good enough.Are you really happy if the BASIC outline for the character is there?If the character's look and most important trait in his personality is taken away,is he still his character?

So if Goku was black and had pink hair,but was still a fighter is that good enough for you?

He looks like a fairly Old man with grey hair, a grey stubble, and a haiwan shirt its not that far from the show. He was never gonna have the shell anyway.

Roshi was a little stereotypical. Perhaps that is why the ditched the image. I mean he was cut and paste exact copy of the old wise master from a billion low budget martial art flicks.

Perhaps he will simply be a lil perverted whne the scenes allow for it. (having him touching up bulma during a serious moment would be stupid)
