The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

I've deleted that post twice now, Blackheart. Don't post it again.

A 10-second preview of the trailer for Part 2 has just been released. The whole thing will be playing with The Hunger Games (that's gonna go over well... :whatever: :funny:) and will be online the 26th.

I saw part 1 of this and it was laughably unbearable, I can't imagine part 2 being any different

David the android has more emotional range than Kristen Stewart. She's like a slack-jawed mannequin.

Yep, because that cocky grin in the fourth picture and that worry/determination in the second TOTALLY aren't emotions... :whatever:

You don't have to like her acting. But to say her acting is completely devoid of emotion is just plain false.

Mackenzie Foy looks adorable. As in the cheek-pinching kind and the stereotypical "Aawwww!" after.

And the look of Part 2 looks almost exactly the same as Part 1... whatever happened to making them separate, standalone films? The 2-part HP finale had two different but consistent looks for Parts 1 and 2.

Not enough happened in Breaking Dawn to justify two movies, other than the obvious money-grab. HP had a final battle between good and evil at Hogwarts in their second movie. Without giving too much away of the finale of Breaking Dawn...let's just say their final showdown had none of that.

Yeah... regardless of the financial incentive to split the final Twilight film into two films, I expected something new with each half. Regardless what people thought of Part 1, Guillermo Nevarro's work on it was beautiful. It would've been neat to see him conduct a Hellboy 2 palette for Part 2, to set it apart visually.

And from what I've heard, they altered the ending. You know, they actually have a fight... regardless of Meyer's influence on the film, there has to be some punches thrown. It would be incredibly anticlimatic if it did follow the book word for word.

If they throw it in there just to have it I'm not gonna complain.

Edit: On a side note I'm surprised to see that this thread has over 10,000 page views but only 600 comments? Makes you wonder if most of the Hype are fans.

This is not giving me the sense that this angle of the story will any less creepy than it was in the book. And not the good kind of creepy.

lol no kidding. Bella and Edward definitely shouldn't leave her alone with him.

Oh, please. :whatever:

If Jacob had one single inappropriate thought about Renesmee while she's still a child, Edward would hear it and he and Bella would rip Jacob a new ******* in ten seconds flat. And, he isn't thinking "Oh boy! One day I'm gonna tap that!" anyway. That's not how imprinting works. While she's a child he'll be the best babysitter and friend a kid could want. All he wants is to protect her and for her to be happy. And when she is fully grown, the choice will be hers as to whether or not their relationship will change at all. If she wants to be friends, that's what will happen. If she wants a relationship, that'll happen. If she wants nothing to do with him, he'll stay away from her, difficult as it may be for him. Jacob has no choice in the matter. She does.

Sure, I confess it's a bit squicky. But it's not half as bad as some people make it out to be.

More supposed "news" about Lionsgate's non-existant plans to continue Twilight.

I'm sure Stephanie Meyer has a clause in her contract, or have enough leveraging power to prevent such nonsense. The Hunger Games was a huge breakout success, they should milk that instead.
