Well when he hears the news that Uncle Ben was murdered by Sandman at the police station he isn't wearing the symbiote, you can tell since he doesn't have his goth look yet. Also when Aunt May's talking to him about revenge he doesn't look like he has the symbiote on him yet either. So the symbiote dream theory really doesn't make much sense to me.

I think one twist will probably be Harry saving Peter at the end during battle royale.
