Who is the "main" villain?

Well, atleast the symbiote is considered a villain. Many of you said the symbiote wasn't a villain. Now, we know that it is.

You can still say the symbiote but not only did Harry steal the show (which no one expected) but he had more screen time than predicted.

LOL! No, he's not. Brock has like 3 brief scenes before he becomes Venom. That's not building him up. Building up a character is like what they did with Harry over the previous two movies.

The movie was about Peter, and how he handles his dark side. Not building up to Venom.

Eddie's a minor character to start with, but they build him up.

How? Snapping a few pics of Spidey, then getting his ass fired? Brock was an after thought in this movie. He didn't help move the plot along at all, except in the final fight sequence.

I would say that both Harry and Sandman are the film's main villains, especially since they switch off in terms of "villain screentime."

Venom is just a secondary villain and merely represents the final step in Peter's journey of conquering his dark side.
