At this very moment? No. Aren't you going to have Lex respond to the Lexoskel's defeat? And, I do have an idea for another arc with Luthor. A much cooler one, I think.

Well I would realy like to see some "Ultimate" style development on the Blue Beetle, and I'm actualy thinking about putting in an ap because he is one of my favorite DC characters. I can't decide which incarnation I would want to be, which era ya know. I have some ideas that have a realy "Ultimate" twist, such as the scarab not actualy being a mystical item at all, instead having it as an alien artifact that bio-mechanicaly ataches to its host, thus allowing the amazing abilities of the Blue Beetle. OR, I was thinking about the original B.B. and the 2X drug he took to give him super strength and have a more modernized version of this. I'll have an ap up soon, but if someone could help me decide which of these ideas would work best, and perhaps which alter ego i should take up, that would help

 

[The Question]

Ted Kord's always been a favorite of mine. And really, if you want to have a scarab but can't decide between magic and alien tech, why not have both? I always like to write the line between magic and science as very blurred. magic is simply scientific practices used long before we had computers and test tubes. They're more in tuned with nature, and while they have strengths over certain areas that modern science lack, they are no better or worse.

I been wanting to post some Hourman storys but I have a problem and that problem is the rouge gallery. So far all I have for villains is Dr. Togg and Psycho-Pirate.

Well, maybe you could have Hourman have been active with the JSA in WWII and do flashback posts. 'Course, that'd limit your interaction with other players considerably.

I was thinking about playing Jaime Reyes, I like Kord and all, but I wana have someone that actualy has the scarab powers. I was thinking about using Garret, but I thought it would be better to keep him as someone from the "Golden Age" or someone my character could research. Maybe Kord could have been a vigilanty from the late 70's who, once killed, was revealed to have been a multibillionier obsesed with the strange scarab shaped artifact that he valued imaculatly. Perhaps after his company was sold the artifact went missing, and then I could explain how a teenager in El Paso wound up with it embeded in his back.

I realy wana have a powerfull superhero with a youthfull mind, almost like a DC Spider-Man, and with all of the aspects of the Blue Beetle to work with, this could be alot of fun.

Now this is not set in stone on how I would like to do things, I'm open to suggestion, maybe Kord could still be alive, Hell maybe Garret could to! If anyone has any ideas please let me hear them.

Don't use Reyes. Reyes is the character in the comics, and if you look carefully, he's basically a hispanic Ted Kord in terms of personality. Use Kord. Give him the scarab, if you want. I would, however, simply have him be a vigilante who's good with electronics.

So did MaskedmanJRK ever pick up Robin, I thought he had a while back but I'm confuzled. If he, or someone else hasn't I'd love to give him a shot, seeing as how it was original choice way back when he was reserved.

Also, I would like to take Zod out of the flashback phase soon enough and have Luthor somehow come upon the Phantom Zone. I'll make a post soon to kind of wrap up everything that happened on Krypton.

We're (JRK and I) still hammering out the details for the storyline with his introduction. Robin won't come in till much later, but we've pretty much got the storyline setting up for him figured out. But, as said, it's gonna be awhile.
