I think, when I talked to MB about this a really, really, really long time ago, that the consenus among the GMs was that it would be rebooted to 1 year after metahumans started popping up, and a few months after some huge, "We all gonna die" event that was stopped by Bats, Supes and Wondie.

But like I said, that was a long while ago.

The reasoning behind that being that we all know how slow games are when everyone is solo-ing their characters' origin.

I've seen endless exposition (like, oh, the origin stories) kill more RPGs than I can count.

Careful not to give the thread a heart attack. This is more action than it's seen in eons.

That could work. But I'd like to make sure that we have active players for the Big Three and any major villains, because one of the fatal flaws so far has been people getting bogged down waiting for other people to post.

Of course, it would take some planning to set up just exactly who and what has already been established when the game starts, but yeah, I think it would work better than starting from scratch.

How about we get done with this season before divvying up who we'll play in the reboot if/when it happens?

So, all you mother****ing vultures can pick up characters now, help the RPG get to where it needs to be, and have fun developing your ideas for the reboot?

Thing is, we're bogged down by this Justice League arc and I think a reboot would actually do the RPG good.

Seeing as all that time ago when talking to MB, he said that the game would reboot when this Crisis arc was complete. IE this arc would lead into the reboot. Now, GL was behind this arc, and was playing it's villain. GL has been gone for a while now.

Are people still set on doing this thing? Because, no offense, it seems to me it just won't happen.

Agreed. By trying to "finish" this Season, we could lose any hope of momentum and doom this RPG permanently.
