Happy birthday Assasin!

Have a fab one  eat lots of cake and have fun!

Maybe Nightcrawler can help him pray the gay away.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Nightcrawler is too busy being worm food

And if he ever crawls his way out of that grave he's going to be too busy hunting for brains

And altar boys :ninja:

Those character designs look awful.

That guy with the guns who looks like a mafia hood

That's Alfred

Yeah

:barf:

I just threw up in disgust

In my mouth

Thanks for that Darth :argh:

Also if Marvel ever did anything as disgusting or bigoted as to make Northstar straight not only would I lose what little interest in him I have I would also boycott Marvel forever :down

Which wouldn't make much difference to my wallet sadly as I'm only buying like six Marvel books right now :oldrazz:

I actually feel the same way if lets say DC made I don't know....Black Canary a lesbian.

So anyone planning to watch the roast of Charlie Sheen on comedy central this sunday

This **** looks hilarious and he's a guy who gives you so much material to work with its almost too easy to mock the guy

I'd boycott Marvel if they made any of their gay characters straight. As not only would i lose all interest in those characters I would also be utterly disgusted and repulsed by such boring bigoted rubbish

Which wouldn't make much difference to my wallet sadly as I'm only buying like six Marvel books right now :oldrazz:

You are so gullible. :funny:

I am not gullible :argh:

The african prince who's going to put two million pounds in my bank account now i have given him my credit card pin number tells me I am a very shrewd and clever woman

...

I havent gotten the money yet but I'm sure he's good for it

Ew, flat faces much?

I hope that green guy isn't meant to be Croc :csad:

You have gotten the money. I gave them my PIN and they gave me a reward in which I redeemed for cash. So many celebrities want African babies these days.

I gotta say, that Elmer Fudd and Daffy clip looks wicked.

Pretty cool to hear a lot of the business side of these things for once. I don't agree with all of Register's often contradictory reasoning, like wanting to stay absolutely true to the Looney Tunes shorts, while simultaneously trying to reinvent the wheel (and sucking at it) with the new Batman cartoon.

Still, the concept of the whole "DC Nation" 2 hour block thing seems cool in theory, assuming it's not 2 straight hours of crap.

The Green Lantern cartoon looks surprisingly decent too, although I don't think it necessarily needs to be in CGI at all, despite what Sam claims there. It looks like it will give the show a unique visual style, but I really doubt it's necessary or unique enough to be worth the extra $$ of the full CGI when the same stories can be told through traditional animation.

I watched the Wonder Woman animated movie yesterday. Cool story (at points), enjoyable fight scenes and horrible animation. :csad: Why WB? Why was the animation so bad??

:woot:

By the way, does anyone else thinks Beware the Batman sounds horrible?

"According to Register, the CGI animated series will spotlight a classic-looking Batman teaming up with a gun-toting Alfred Pennyworth and a female ninja sidekick," says the site. "Beware the Batman is executive-produced by Glen Murakami, and will explore the mythology’s more obscure villains, such as Professor Pyg, but also won't shy away from featuring some of the more well-known Batman foes. In the series, Batman will team up with a younger female sidekick named Katana. During the keynote, Register added that Katana will fill the sidekick role, but won't be a replacement for Robin."

I still say they shoulda taken the opportunity to go with Batman and the Outsiders.

My biggest gripe with the movie was the fact that Diana couldn't fly under her own power. I love flight-capable Wonder Woman.

As for the animation, it would've been fantastic if they could have given us something with the quality of Green Lantern: First Flight (bad, forgettable story with a main character who is even more of a blank slate than usual, but the animation was beautiful).

I would watch the hell out a show like that.

Personally, I'd love for them to just create a whole new animated DC universe, like the original DCAU. Hell, they could even throw it in the Young Justice continuity if it would at least give us a chance to see Superman acting like Superman in that world.

That could have been epic

Halo and Looker and Black Lightning fighting crime with Batman. Good stuff

 YES! I love animated shows and I'd love to see more of the DC world in them. But actual 'worlds' not just random DC character shows floating around.

Think of the merchandise! :hrt:

I liked the old school WW without flight. :(

Gun toting Alfred upsets me ;_;

And Batman working with a guy who runs around shooting people what the what

That would be nice

All the times he's appeared so far he's just seemed like kind of a jerky jerk.

You know what would have been awesome ? an 80s epic fantasy version of Wonder Woman, like krull or Conan or something. Arnold could play Ares:woot:
also happy Birthday Assassin! all the best:yay:

Oh, an Addendum to my original thought on WW. I watched it and wondered why they couldn't have done something like that for the live-action TV show. Obviously some story tweaks. But why deny the mythology of her? Isn't that like a big deal right now?

Really? because I thought the animation was about the same as the other DCU animated films. I really dug the story and mthos of Wonder Woman especially since I'm unfamiliar with Wonder Woman outside of the Justice League.

on a related note, I got my Justice League: The New Frontier on Blu ray in the mail!
