iSorry, twy. :csad:

I never could get into Eureka. Tried a few episodes from pretty much every season but never stuck around for long.

My Eureka love didn't kick in till season 3. I'm a late bloomer.

And I'm sorry for freaking out. :( I was just all "OH Algebra class and then W13, popcorn and beer!" I even saw the W13 thread pop up on the main forum list and was tempted but said "NO STOP!" and came here... and then you.. and spoilers.. and.... *brain implodes* I shouldn't have threatened to shave your eyebrows....orsaidIhatedyou.

I used to watch Eureka, but I stopped after that episode where they slightly altered their timeline. Suddenly Allison isn't running GD, Fargo is in charge, Henry is married to a woman he doesn't know, and Jo & Zane are no longer together.

All at once, the show strapped on its jet skis, hit the ramp, looked down, and said "Oh Hai, Shark."

I actually really liked the 'reboot' I thought it was an interesting premise and *freshened* the show up for a few more seasons. I mean, Fringe has since done the same thing, and I enjoy it.

Sudden dynamic changes like that just smack of laziness to me. The writers couldn't be bothered to bring the characters to those new positions organically, so they just say "science did it," and change everything all at once.

It's like that episode of Primeval when Cutter went into an anomaly, and when he walked out suddenly they had a different base of operations and one of the actors was playing a different character.

That worked pretty well in Primeval's case. Gave them a "Stargate Command"-style setup instead of being a ragtag bunch of academics investigating anomalies.

I'm going to start watching Dr Who.
This could be a great or terrible idea.

Just got done with episode 7 of Season 4 for Breaking Bad. I can feel the tension rise!!

If you're gonna start Dr. Who, I suggest you start with the 11th doc. No point in going back unless you really like it.

All you need to know is that the Doctor is a 900 year old mad alien with a time traveling box that's bigger on the inside.

Everything else isn't important or will be explained.

Most of that is explained, too. They're pretty good about giving new viewers a crash course whenever there's a new Doctor, if not every season.

Hell, the first episode pretty much gives you a run down on the Doctor's history which amounts to "I"m the Doctor, don't f**k with me."

Yep. Which eventually has implications later on, too. Which is why I love Moffat. :)

Yeah, plus the Tenth Doctor's stuff isn't nearly as good. :oldrazz:
this is a fact. going to a doctor who themed party friday where my buddy will give me all of last season because i was unable to watch it until now and am entirely too lazy to download it myself.

just bought tickets to the caps season opener, that'll be fun

and now off to rub a strangers breasts in my face. adieu

time to send these ****ing Yankees home

I hope that means your watching football Assasin

And not that you've gone back in time and joined the Confederate army :nono:

Yep. Which eventually has implications later on, too. Which is why I love Moffat. :)

I want to run away with him and marry him in the TARDIS :atp:

It's fab stuff with so many great ideas and concepts in every episode. Neil Gaiman writes one of the episodes and the finale is amazing

And the Silence! The Silence are spooky

and now off to rub a strangers breasts in my face. adieu

Don't do anything I wouldn't do ;)

I watched a lot of the episodes out of order when i first saw it

Since then I've been watching each season in order and digging it. Season 3 is pretty great
