Before, he was in a crib somewhere. Now he's in a circus tent somewhere. :cwink:

And the Batman's eyes narrow.

Anyway, I saw Immortals Friday......eh.

Reminded me of the Clash of the Titans remake. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. Just, okay.

Did see a guy get his nuts smashed with a hammer though.

well I'm sure he was still Batman in those 8 years but after the events of TDK, I'm assuming most of people in Gotham hate Batman.

In the nolan films, he was strangled to death by his drunk father

Because that is what is gritty and realistic :o

Nolan needs to unclench about Robin. It'd be great if we at least got Robin's introduction as an epilogue at the end or something.

It might be spoilerish but I heard rumors of
An Arkham Asylum breakout with about 15 or so cameos from Batman's rouge gallery.

The only thing I've seen Nolan mention about Robin is that this was about Batman's early days and Robin is still in a crib, would probably be a few movies down the line, and that he probably wouldn't be attached to the series when the time came. Never saw anything about him being "clenched" that wasn't someone putting words in his mouth. I could have missed something though.

THAT would be the best possible news about this movie. not pleased about the whole 8 years later thing

I thought it was broken down because Bane took over. I hope Bruce hasn't stopped being Batman for the 8 years after The Dark Knight as Gordon said he went away in the teaser trailer.
ugh...that would suck

Wheres Robin? :( :P

why not? from a narrative standpoint, it's a risky step....but it could prove very interesting

because i wanted to edit all three of them together into one super film. the first two work together great, use the origin from begins a cut up mix of the gotham tonight segments to cover a small time gap (i like 6 months, but i might cut it down to 3) and then a slightly abbreviated cut of the dark knight now the best i'll be able to do is cut this one up for cameos.:csad:

oh my sweet lord....you take your fan edit, and you cram it

cram it hard, cram it deep

nope. i'm going to make it and i'm going to enjoy it. you don't have to concern yourself with it in any way shape or form, so go fly a kite.

I hope that's true about the Arkham rumour you heard Kane. That would be pretty great if Nolan did that as a treat for the fans :)

That would be neat even if it was just a cameo by Dick Grayson Age Twelve at some point in the movie

For a while now I've wanted TDKR to end with an epilogue of Bruce going to see the Flying Graysons and a scene between Bruce and Dick that mirrors the scene between young Bruce and Gordon in BB on the night his parents were killed.

what is with everyone and the Robin hard on lately? he's popped up in the last film series, B:TAS, even The Batman..and now Arkham City...but that's not good enough for you lot is it....nooooooo

Well forgive us for wanting to see one of Batman's most recognizable supporting characters.

In my mind, Batman is always, always, always "Batman and Robin." If Robin's absent from anything Batman's in--save maybe the Justice League, since that's for adult heroes--it's an oversight. He doesn't have to be there every single second or anything, but he must at the very least exist in that continuity.

Im good with or without him....it doesn't lessen my "Batman experience" if he's not there...I just don't think he fits in with this series of films

maybe next time

Anything fits if you try hard enough and have good enough creative talent. :o
