I doubt it....this is what I think happened....one of the kids went home from school, parents ask how the day was....probably went something like this

Mom: hey Jimmy how was school today?

Jimmy: good...we colored and did some finger painting and and a lady came in to read to use

Mom: oh thats nice....what was her name?

Jimmy: Sasha.....

Mom than has a vague memory of hearing that name before.....then remembers she caught Dad whacking it in his office to a video of Sasha Grey getting violated by a guy in a teddy bear costume...and then calls the other Moms and gets all outraged

Dad then comes home from work and gets banished to the couch for something that has nothing do with him

decent articles....BUT.....they seem to be written in vain as gamers are contrary by nature....tell us to do something and we're doing the opposite....that's just how it is

After reading that article, it doesn't seem to be about sexism in gaming. It's about the writer getting tired of people using her gender as her defining trait. She wants to just be called a writer instead of a "female writer," and she doesn't like for people to turn to her for a possibly sexist aspect about a video game because she doesn't think she's qualified to speak for all women.
