Psst, I know I'll manage. I don't care at all, don't care, don't care, don't care, nope not me. (Shuffles off to change name back to Teardrop in honor of lost dick).

That would probably be the most interesting thing Stephen has ever done since Indefensible in my experiences with the character.

Lets face it, the Dr.Strange "Sorcerer Supreme" schtick is a humongous plot device for other characters to be dragooned into one of the "good" doctor's little adventures. Because you know, the Sorcerer Supreme is SO damn powerful, able to blink people out of existence, that he wouldn't deign to get his hands dirty so leaves the work to the likes of the Silver Surfer, Namor, the Hulk and pretty much every other character he's conned into fighting on his behalf while he floats around, mumbling some mumbo-jumbo.

This is why Marvel needs to bring Shuma Gorath back in a non-video game way. Cthulhu-style elder god that existed at the birth of the world who killed Strange's mentor and former Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One.

This place went through the same thing when Wilhelm got banned. You'll all manage.

Meh. I think he was a lot less likeable. BL's dickishness came off more playful unlike Wilhelm who was just a condescending ass.

I'll miss his unreasonable hatred for rhythm games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band most of all.

BL's full on hatred for The Big Bang Theory could not be beat.

Nerd blackface indeed. :o

my favorite bl moment was when he tried to argue that hal jordan construct punching the big bad in the comics is cool, but on film it's lazy writing

latino review is reporting that beniceio del toro is going to be KHAN in star trek 2. cannot hope this is true enough

Pine has to work on his "KHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNN" scream.

Oh I hope not. I like original villains. I hate the Smallville style winks at the "true" fans who get some sort of obscure line of dialogue that in context makes no sense.

**** you guys, star trek rules. it'd be better if it was jean luc though

Alan Moore dropped some knowledge on Frank Miller's crazy ass
I like how BL being a dick is agreed upon by the people who loved and disliked him
If people thought BlackLantern was a *****e god knows what some of these new posts would of thought of Memphis Slim

I want to see a Star Trek: Generations episode written by the Patrick Stewart from Extras...

"So we meet this alien woman and her dozen female alien friends... So we beam them aboard... And their clothes fall off... and she tries to cover up, but they are too late... I've seen everything."

they could have liam neeson on there as a special comedic guest.

"i just managed to escape my world, but not before it could curse me. i have full blown aids. i got it from an urban prostitute. due to the economic situation on my planet it was the only work she could find. i only have days to live, i fear she may already be dead."

What'd Moore say?

“Well, Frank Miller is someone whose work I’ve barely looked at for the past twenty years. I thought the Sin City stuff was unreconstructed misogyny, 300 appeared to be wildly ahistoric, homophobic and just completely misguided. I think that there has probably been a rather unpleasant sensibility apparent in Frank Miller’s work for quite a long time. Since I don’t have anything to do with the comics industry, I don’t have anything to do with the people in it. I heard about the latest outpourings regarding the Occupy movement. It’s about what I’d expect from him. It’s always seemed to me that the majority of the comics field, if you had to place them politically, you’d have to say centre-right. That would be as far towards the liberal end of the spectrum as they would go. I’ve never been in any way, I don’t even know if I’m centre-left. I’ve been outspoken about that since the beginning of my career. So yes I think it would be fair to say that me and Frank Miller have diametrically opposing views upon all sorts of things, but certainly upon the Occupy movement.

“As far as I can see, the Occupy movement is just ordinary people reclaiming rights which should always have been theirs. I can’t think of any reason why as a population we should be expected to stand by and see a gross reduction in the living standards of ourselves and our kids, possibly for generations, when the people who have got us into this have been rewarded for it; they’ve certainly not been punished in any way because they’re too big to fail. I think that the Occupy movement is, in one sense, the public saying that they should be the ones to decide who’s too big to fail. It’s a completely justified howl of moral outrage and it seems to be handled in a very intelligent, non-violent way, which is probably another reason why Frank Miller would be less than pleased with it. I’m sure if it had been a bunch of young, sociopathic vigilantes with Batman make-up on their faces, he’d be more in favour of it. We would definitely have to agree to differ on that one.”

I like when Patrick Stewart does the voice of Joe's daughter on Family Guy.

His line about Meg's nipple tasting like a dirty penny had me laughing out loud :woot:

Alan Moore can be a jerk at times but he is also often kind of amazing and his comments about Miller made me grin

A new take on Khan would be neat though he'll need to be really good to better the original

I love him as Avery Bulloch in American Dad so much. I think he is one of the funniest characters in the show

His rambling nonsensical Dr Seuss style speech in the strip club is perhaps the funniest thing I've ever seen :awesome:

Patrick Stewart writes the best scripts

Like a boss

You know, as far as BL being banned goes, I'm reminded a lot of the end of World's Greatest Dad....I mean, I liked him in his own way and he did make for interesting conversations, but dude was a dick. And I honestly don't think it was in a funny, over-the-top kind of way either, I think he had some legitimate belief to half of the nonsense he spewed (most of which he didn't have half a clue what he was talking about). He'd gotten a lot better over the last year or so, but I don't know, I still found him fairly unbearable at times.

I don't know, it does kind of suck to see him go in some ways, but the only real surprise I can have is that it didn't happen a long time ago, because he was always throwing around insults and ****. I don't know, I kind of felt sorry for him in cocoon of intense self-loathing and cynicism, but I'm not sure if I'll really miss him all that much.
I've never been a big fan of banning... I got kicked off a board once for having the political options that weren't in tune with the rest of the board. I do recall BL as being, lets just say abrasive, but it's still sad when anything goes so far as to result in a ban.

Watching Tucker & Dale vs Evil tonight and my god this film is insane

Things I have learned from this movie

Never judge by appearance

Don't vacation in the woods nothing good comes of it

Never run at someone who's stood in front of a wood chipper :ninja:
