What kind of dark thing could Snow White have aside from a Necrophiliac prince?

Well the evil Queen wanted the huntsman to bring back Snow White's liver and lungs after he killed her... so she could eat them.

And at the end when she is found out to be evil she is forced to wear heated metal shoes and dance until she dies.

i can't decide if i despise it for trying take a fairly tame tale aimed at children and grimdark it up for the sake of grimdarking it up, if i'm ok with it because i have to support an artist's right to leeway with a given subject mater, or if i'm just apathetic to it. i think it's probably the first one, but one thing is sure, charlese theron coming out of that milk bath is crazy hot.

Yep her coming out of a bath of milk is epic hawtness that is giving me all sorts of feelings in my lady-parts

I'm not too upset about the changes made as fairy tales tend to get changed a lot there are lots of versions of the same stories.

And it does make me happy to see more films with kick ass female leads

Wow, living in Asia has its benefits. I ordered a Gamera toy from Japan to be shipped with Fed Ex and it came in within two days! The toy itself is pretty neat..if a bit small for what's supposed to be a Dai-Kaijin.

Nope. Believe it or not, I'm not into Godzilla stuff. I've always found Godzilla a little boring. But I'd jump all over a good Ghidorah action figure. Seriously, Ghidorah to me is the greatest Kaijin ever created.

I've also been having this weird turtle obsession. Not only did I buy this Gamera toy, I actually hunted back issues of the new IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and even bought the TMNT animated movie that came out awhile back. Turtles have been on my mind quite a bit.

Fun on a bun

I love those movie monsters so much I've got a bunch of the films on VHS and DVD

I managed to get a Ghidorah toy a little while ago from a second hand toy shop I found in Norwhich along with a Rodan and also a bunch of animated series Marvel toys

I found a pretty fab MODOK there too

About the new movie, it seems like there's little to no news about it. I'm worried it might just end up in limbo which a lot of these movies tend to end up.

Especially since Nickeloadean (sp?) bought rights to the the franchise. If "The Last Airbender" was any indication, they don't seem to be able to do movies very well.

As for the comics, for the first 3 issues it seems pretty slow. I showed it to a friend of mine and he was bummed out by how yet again the story seems to be primarily focused on Raph (he likes Donnie. Weird.) The cat dude, "Old Hob" seems like a new character. I think I missed out #4 this month, so I'll have to do a little searching to find out what happens. I am kind of looking forward to the Turtles' involvement in IDW's Infestation 2.

And I hope the movie does end up coming out it would be a real shame if it never got made

Yeah, when I was a kid, Leo seemed pretty cool too until you grow older and realize what a badass Raph is.

And Casey Jones. Casey Jones is pretty badass too.

So I've been talking about this for a while but I'm honestly just torn. With all these new fangled tablets out there I want one bad, but do I need one? Not really. It would be just something cool to have I think. Plus, for the same price I can probably get a new, much better laptop. Who knows.

When tablets surpass laptops technologically I will get one until then tablets are just for folks with money to burn.

I'm more intrested in getting a 3D tv. They are getting alot cheaper now but I will wait perhaps another 9 months to a year for them to work out all the kinks with these first generation 3D Tvs.

I remember when my dad first brought home a DVD players he payed alot of money for it yet 18 months later you could get a better quality for half the price.

I would not get a 3D TV as I honestly think it's a fad. It will never compare or come close to good and well done cinema 3-D.

It is. And as for tablets, until they become more mainstream I think you should just work to getting a high-end laptop.

End of the day, a laptop or desktop has more uses as compared to a tablet. Realistically, you'd be more at ease doing actually work on your computer than holding a tablet fumbling with the touchscreen interface. To say nothing of the fact that I think tablets still haven't integrated the use of actual work software like Excel or Spreadsheet, AutoCAD or editting software.
