heh, Actually the ones I have look kinda like these but in a copper/brown color and a different brand. (It also came with a sunglasses clip-on lol)

I got mine pretty cheap at America's Best, but i paid extra for the transitional lenses.

My colleague at work was *****ing to me how impossibly hard it was for him to take this vegetarian girl out on a date last Sunday:

"I swear to God ________, it was worse than bringing you out!"

Moral of the story, its harder to get along with Vegetarians than Muslims. At least if your an insensitive hardcore carnivore.

Psst, whateva, we Veggie folk are a calm people. You ****er.

Depends on how hardcore a veggie you are. Or how hardcore a Muslim you are. Basically, it's more of a gauge of how much of an opinionated *****e you can be than any one label that you can apply to yourself.

I can see how some people get annoyed with veggies as it can be like being with a really fussy eater.

Eh, I don't think so. They are taking something specifically out of their diet and all, but there's still plenty of options and they are doing it of their own accord (unless it's a situation where the family is vegetation and they're imprinting that on their kids, or they're one of those "hipster" types who are only doing it to be "happening"). Otherwise, I think the fussiness of the eating depends pretty solely on the eater in question, as it does with non-veggies. It seems to me it's just something people find weird simply because it's not the norm in the Western world.

Fussy eaters don't judge you for eating stuff.

Not all veggies do either.

Not many do, from my experience. I don't know a lot around this area, but I know the few that I've met who are also vegetarians aren't militant in the least. I mean, yeah, if you ask them why they went that route, they'll tell you, but I've never met a fellow veggie who chucked an axe at someone eating a steak across the table. I'm sure they're out there and all, but I generally think that's just an eschewed perception that people have gotten based on media portrayals. And PETA. God, PETA.

I can travel in the circle of animal care professionals, which is one fraught with people who are highly judging and opinionated on such matters, so I might be experiencing more of that than others.

Yeah, I guess could see that given their profession. Maybe there's more veggies out there like that, too, since I'm working on a low pool. When I move to a bigger city maybe I'll be ashamed of my kind.

Fingers crossed for another montage that involves the X-Men at a strip club.

Maybe because I've only read Long Halloween, Dark Victory, and Haunted Knight but I don't get the Jeph Loeb hate.

That's because you only read Long Halloween. Dark Victory, and Haunted Knight. :o

Yeah. Read Hulk, Superman/Batman, and Ultimates 3. His more recent stuff has pretty much all been terrible.

And now he's in charge of the Avengers cartoon. :csad:

And then once your eyes have adjusted to the level of s***tiness that rests in that stuff then maybe... MAYBE you'll be ready to have a look at Ultimatum.

Otherwise, if you jump straight into Ultimatum after reading Loeb's best stuff it will be like your brain just tried to shift from 5th to 1st and things will get messy...

Lex: "There's a big ball of deadly kryptonite hurdling toward the Earth. Its impact with the planet will surely kill millions. Clearly, Superman has sent it here to kill us all!"
Superman: "But it'll kill me before it kills any of you. The radiation alone--"
Lex: "SUPERMAN DID IT DESPITE ALL LOGIC! Now I'm commanding every superhero in America to hunt him down, because apparently the president can do that."

And then every superhero in the DCU hunted down Superman on Lex Luthor's illogical word.

Best story ever.

I Liked the Supergirl arc despite it's incredibly flaws such as Batman > Amazon soldiers scenery lol, oh and Loeb's feelings that characters like Thor and Wonder Woman should be jerks to others because they're "gods".

I remember enjoying HULK as well at the beginning but that **** got old quick. Especially since my original reasoning for buying it was Ed McGuinness' art.

Of Superman/Batman? No. That was Loeb, Morrison never had an arc.

What am I thinking of? Maybe JLA Confidential. That had Morrison on its first arc, right? With the Ultramarine Corps, I think?
