I thought he was talking about M.A.S.K.

That series was crazy amounts of fun

And it had such a good theme tune :atp:

80's cartoons were amazing :hrt:

GUYS GUYS! You won't believe this, I found a DVD set of MASK! I bought it! And..................................................................................................................................................................

It turned out to be Region 1.

I'm not sure why Region Codes became a thing but for God's sake its the 21st ***king Century!

Dvd players that play dvds from all regions aren't too expensive I've seen some being sold very cheaply

You know it would be worth it to enjoy the M.A.S.K-y goodness

I brought a all region DVD player for 20 bucks off Amazon about 8 years ago.

Watched a good BBC Documentary about British bands in America from the Punk-New Wave era (70's & 80's).

Lots of interviews with people like Johhny Rotten, Sting, Elvis Costello, Robert Smith and so on.

Basically it seems the reason why alot of them were not successful atleast intially is the fact corporate has a insane strangle hold on American radio and anyone who doesn't kiss their ass won't get played or support.

The reason the Police were successful is because they where happy to smooze and kiss ass according to drummer Stewart Copeland.

I was under the impression that my PS3 was an all-region DVD player. Apparently I was wrong.

That's blu ray and all blu ray players are region free.

Not all blu-ray players are actually region free, but the majority of blu-ray's themselves don't have region locks.

Which is great but the DVD thing really burns. What's worse is I have two sets of DVDs coming in from Amazon and I suspect their going to be Region 1 as well.

A complete oversight on my part...Damn.

In lighter news, Fall of Cybertron Bruticus looks completely Beastly.

If the scale is right, I'm definitely going to pick it up when in get made into plastic.

When is Fall of Cybertron out again? It looks like it'll be a fun rental-worthy game.

They probably are. Very few DVDs were region free. I never did get the point to region locks.

Man, Whitney Houston died. I haven't felt this bummed since James Brown went to that big ole fish fry in the sky. :(

So I just watched In Time and it's wasn't as awesome as I thought it could be. Amanda Seyfried was hot enough and the concept was cool enough. I just think it could have been really cool with a different story.

Atleast it teaches us that we'll all be okay with our capitalist system aslong as a new modern Robin Hood rises up to help the poor.

Yeah I like the concept of it but the execution was terrible. The fact that there wasn't mass riots and hysteria...and deaths with people stealing other peoples time away with a simple turn of the arm.

Oh and Amanda Seyfried :hrt:

Also, JT is just not believable in any serious role. It worked in The Social Network because he was essentially playing a *****ier version of himself. Stick to comedies.

I thought Timberlake was fine in this movie. It really just was the execution and the ending that made this movie such an forgettable experience. I liked the British thugs, that guy was tons of fun lol.
